Half the time you can't find what you're looking for and if you do it's three times more than if you drive right up the road to Gus' Hardware in Belton or white Jones Ace Hardware in Anderson. Let's not even get started on trying to complete a curbside pick up. If you order a item online don't expect to receive it for 2 to 3 days even if it says it will be available for pick up that day.

I was shocked the price, level of customer service. Sears had fallen off my radar, just did Lowe's b/c it was easy, not anymore. Future appliance purchases we are heading to Sears. The delivery, set up, take away had not happened yet. But I can tell you the purchase was very smooth.

My initial opinion is Home Depot @ $17.99 is an excellent, healthy rose and the best value. However Home Depot has a very limited selection. Edmunds' Roses $41.95 was the largest, healthiest, fullest rose of the bunch. (I recommend Edmunds {Jung Seed Co} ') . The Jackson & Perkins @ $39.95 looks very frail, very few canes and the least likely to survive.

In comparison, I order from David Austin and all of the roses have survived. To top it off J&P's customer service is lousy (delayed response) and they are very stingy with their guarantee. They won't reimburse shipping and it's a fight to get a replacement. I have been dealing with the issue with one bush, asking for them to stand behind their guarantee, for almost 3 months. Ridiculous. Lucky for me, their patents have expired on two of my favorites (Mister Lincoln and Fragrant Cloud) so I can get healthier plants from other breeders. Bottom line, unless you want a rose that is still under their patent, look elsewhere. Second, don't get bare root roses from them. Survival is very iffy. Honestly, idk how they stay in business.
