Life-changing results in just 6 weeks…read more My experience working with Bruno was phenomenal. From the moment I reached out, he was attentive, kind, and very hands-on. His approach to nutrition is simple to follow, with no complicated instructions, yet incredibly effective, and it doesn't require major sacrifices. For the past few years, I tried different nutritionists, and no one could identify the issues I was experiencing. Bruno did. In just 6 weeks of following his program, I reached my desired weight and, most importantly, felt like myself again. I'd recommend Bruno to anyone looking to make a meaningful change in their life through food and proper nutrition.

I read through his reviews, was…read moreimpressed, and decided to give it a shot, though honestly, I didn't fully believe it would work for me. It did! His program changed some of my core habits. I'm drinking more water, eating better, sleeping better, and I have way more energy. I wasn't even expecting the weight loss, but I lost 12 pounds and have kept it off by sticking with what he taught me. I'm vegan and didn't realize how poorly I was actually eating. Bruno taught me so much about proper nutrition, about my own body, and about approaching all of this holistically. It just made sense, and I'm still carrying those practices into my everyday life. As an actor, my body is part of my work, so feeling healthy and strong matters to me as much as how I look on camera. Bruno's program gave me both. So grateful to him. I highly recommend his program! He's the best and truly a very special person, who is committed to his clients and their health journey.

(If you know, you know.) Our mom needed help to manage her pre-diabetes condition and our dad needed support to understand proper nutrition and balance. Both needed to exercise more regularly yet carefully since they are both in their 80s. The past year has been a journey for my parents...accepting new ideas, establishing different eating and exercise patterns and modifying lifelong habits. We are super proud of them for what they have been able to accomplish because it has not been easy to modify those lifelong ideas, habits and patterns. But they are doing it. None of their health progress could have happened without Sophie's patient and gentle guidance. She speaks English and Mandarin with them and understands our culture, diet and our parents' generation. She respects them but also challenges them. And they listen to her! She gives my parents the support and inspiration to keep moving and motivation to take care of themselves physically and mentally. Sophie is a gift. She is as knowledgable as she is enjoyable to work with!

Unfortunately, I can't leave the positive review I had hoped to write…read more I found this clinic through Instagram and, before signing up, I read the reviews on Yelp. Looking back, I question whether those reviews truly reflect the average patient experience because my experience was very different. The receptionist was always polite, and the trainers seemed knowledgeable and supportive. However, my overall experience with the clinic was disappointing. During my initial consultation, the doctor spent a significant amount of time talking about his own experience using the medication. I received my first tirzepatide injection before any lab work was completed, simply because I was overweight. Once my test results came back, I remained on the same dosage for nearly 10 weeks despite my progress stalling. I lost weight during the first month, gained weight during the second month while still on tirzepatide, and by the third month there wasn't even a weigh in. I was told the previous scale had simply weighed lower, which did not seem like a satisfactory explanation. My lab results showed high insulin resistance, but I was initially told not to worry and was only advised to take supplements. Later, after a dosage increase, the doctor recommended that I start metformin, warning me that my insulin levels were high and that I could easily become diabetic. This confused me because my lab work showed I was neither diabetic nor prediabetic. That inconsistency made me question how carefully my results were being reviewed and whether my treatment plan was truly based on my individual health needs. I also requested additional blood work to rule out other possible causes for my lack of progress. Unfortunately, I was later informed that my blood samples had been lost. I was told this "happens all the time" and that it wasn't the clinic's fault but the delivery service's. While they offered to repeat the tests at no additional charge, hearing that lost lab work is common was concerning. Before enrolling, I explained that I live about an hour away in Pasadena and could not make weekly visits. I was assured this would not be a problem and that I would be able to take my medication home. However, throughout the program the policies seemed to change repeatedly, and I was only allowed to take home two doses at a time, requiring more trips than originally discussed. The clinic also appeared disorganized. I made appointments believing I would be seeing the doctor, only to find out they were not doctor appointments. Communication about scheduling and treatment was inconsistent, and I often felt like I was receiving different information from different staff members. The most disappointing part of my experience has been trying to obtain a refund. I have approximately two and a half months of treatment remaining that I already paid for. After several phone calls, I was repeatedly transferred to the doctor instead of speaking with the office manager about my refund. Unfortunately, the conversation with the doctor was not helpful and did not address the reason for my call. After that conversation, I was assured someone would follow up with me, but no one ever did. When I called the clinic again, I was simply told that they would process a refund for the unused portion of my treatment. Overall, I appreciate the kindness of the receptionist and the trainers, but my experience with the medical care, communication, organization, and customer service has been very disappointing. I hope sharing my experience helps others ask the right questions before making a financial commitment.

Before working with Alyson, I notoriously was afraid to eat and found it to be "not my favorite thing to do" or (as a new mom) "something I don't have time for". She is open, smart, and critical in all the best ways. She approaches the subject of nutrition and cooking with an ease that is comforting and reassuring, and makes it feel attainable. Nourishing yourself is a journey gentler than you'd expect. Since seeing Alyson, I've worked on unlearning dieting trauma, restrictions, and I've found ways to move and exercise that answer to what would make me feel best. This is not about discipline. You'd be surprised how much easier it is. Alyson is there to help you!!!

They took a terrified beginner (or even lower than beginner if such a term exists), and helped him fall in love with the exercise, with the workouts, with the process, with the philosophy. I'm not kidding when I say that my first day - I was just worried my leg would go shooting across the room on my first machine. But the staff was patient, detailed, and thorough. They made sure I knew exactly what I was doing, and they were watching everything cautiously to make sure I was safe and my form was ok. That was a year ago, this week. One year later - I can't believe how far I've come. When I started, I just had a simple goal - I'd like to be able to do one squat. Now I can do a half dozen without even focusing on it. A myriad of little changes to my life, my health, my lifestyle - all these little improvements that make everything so much better than it's ever been. I'm emotional just thinking of the process... And truly - it just comes down to the trainers, the staff - they're my guides, my scouts, my mentors in this journey. They never tire of my asking question after question about how to better my form, how to improve my technique, and I owe them so much for that. I'm a full convert now. Full stop. As long as I'm physically and financially able to - I can't imagine ever stopping this process. THANK YOU to every one at the Strength Shoppe (Jazzy, Adal, Anwar, Derek, EVERYONE) for helping this one man find a path in his life he didn't even know he needed, and never would have thought he could love so much.
