I contracted with Forix for website dev and mobile app development in Spring 2013. They were on top of their communication, returned my calls and emails after hours whenever I had issues or questions. Our website was launched on time in July 2013 and they finished our mobile apps early in September 2013. We had a few issues getting our iOS app into the app store because the structure my team selected for signup; users have to create their accounts on our website before they can use our app, apple did not approve of our use of outside links. This delayed our release in the app store, however, our project manager was upfront and warned us it was a possibility when we selected how to do our signup flow. Forix corrected the sign-up flow until it was apple-approved and we launched about three weeks later. This winter I went back to school for iOS development and after graduation I was curious about the quality of code in my iOS app. I sent Forix an email requesting the source code for the iOS app and they speedily released it. I'm pleased to say that we didn't unknowingly pay for shit code; I've gone through it and made a few tweaks to update some of the front-end to my taste but from a quality perspective it's top-notch and so well-documented that I had no problem locating anything I wanted to change.
