The self-checkout is one of the most miserable experiences and I absolutely dread using it for more than a few things. Even if you clearly put your item in a bag, it often freezes up and repeats "Please put all your items in the bagging area!" And then an employee needs to come scan their card. This was happening at almost every isle so it's pretty evident this issue needs seriously addressed. I'd imagine Giant has the resources to offer a fair wage to employees and hire cashiers, but they've resorted to poor automation over creating jobs in the Manchester area. A real shame! I try to avoid this Giant when I can since it's not even worth the hassle.

The farm is open on Wednesday and Saturdays. I do advice to call prior to your intended visit or check their website for special events. You can sign up for a tour, which I did. It is only $5 per person and you get a snack bag of food for the alpacas. The owner gave a very true history of her family and the farm; It was very heartwarming. We took lots of beautiful photos!! They also have a barn shop with yarns to purchase and yarn goods made by local artisans. I purchased 3 large dryer balls that I'm so thrilled with. The salesperson advices me to put essential oil of my liking for my load. I love that!!! They also had human snacks, sandwiches, baked goods, hot cocoa, apple cider. Very kid friendly! Parking available up by barn next to portable restroom.

Great town to visit for a peaceful weekend getaway. Character abound, interesting architecture,…read morebuildings and alleys to explore in the cute little town of Lancaster. Many little art galleries with "First Friday's" where crowds gather and walk the streets to see the open galleries, live music- I want to experience this next visit. A couple restaurant/ bars with a little of everything for everyone, including live music and rooftops. Outside the center of town there are beautiful fields, landscapes, farms and Amish in horse drawn carriages along the roadsides. Villages and tours of Amish country. A little further out and in neighboring towns there are Markets, a winery, a fabulous orchard to pick fresh produce and areas to hike and canoe. If that isn't enough for a vacation - travel a little further for Hershey park and museum and the Capitol building in Harrisburg. Highly recommend for a little getaway.

I live about 1 mile from this Sheetz it is decent - they have good service and pretty good…read moreselection. There is a f'real shake maker and they have frozen soda's too. The food is cooked pretty well, I haven't had a probably with my orders overall. I went to the blockbuster kiosk and had a scratched disc but the blockbuster customer service took care of it with two free rentals. The gas prices are a few cents higher than the Harriburg area but they are in line wiyh Giant and rutter's in the area. I came here recently when the power was out and they had to close. The ice cream freezers were empty the next day and the blockbuster kiosk only accepted one dvd before it lost power, but they didn't charge us a late fee when I alerted them to the fact. I like the covenience and will come back, but Giabt is just as convenient and closer for me.
