Came asap for estimate and plan and discussion on what is wanted and what he will do to accomplish it. Oil based latex or water based ? Finish - high gloss or satin finish ? I had someone come in before Millennium and this a#% didn't know what he was doing. Talked a good talk , had nice fake pictures and gave me a reference phone number as I requested. Number didn't allow me to see anything. The pictures of the floors he claimed to do ... was not his work. I won't mention his name. Though if a pegleg handyman comes knocking. Tell him to keep on walking. Millennium flooring did a great job taking care of my floors and correcting the pegleg liars damages. At least the flooring damage. Pegleg damaged my steps by spilling Polyurathane on my concrete steps. Messed up my solid wood front door, my fireplace bricks. Millennium Flooring did great work. Clean work. Quick work. A year later and I'm still raving about this company and it's owner also.

They installed wood…read morefloors in my historic home in Newport, and after only a short period of time the floors dried out, shrank, and opened up with obvious, unattractive gaps between the boards. For a paid professional installation, this result is unacceptable. What makes this experience even worse is their complete refusal to deal with the problem afterward. I paid their invoices fully and on time. When I contacted them and asked them to return, inspect the damage, and discuss a remedy, they stopped communicating altogether. Calls were not returned. Emails were ignored. Good contractors stand behind their work. This company did not. In my experience, they delivered poor workmanship, then avoided responsibility once payment had been collected. I cannot recommend them, and I think potential clients should take this behavior very seriously.

He was grr-eat; professional (yet no dust on his heels), informative, and patient with my inexperience dealing w/oriental rugs. The location is not ideal, but once you're inside it's not even a thought. Looking forward to revisiting in the spring.

Everyone worked hard - from the time they walked in until the time they left. The quote was great and inside the budget we'd allowed and we got a ton more than we expected - broken boards replaced, boards that had been replaced with the wrong wood were removed and redone with the correct, matching wood, a couple of boards that didn't lay completely flat were repaired, and so on. But the finished floors were the star of the show! The floors look new. Not repaired, not improved - NEW. We have a long house, and you can see a huge expanse of wooden flooring from one end to the other, and the effect is now gorgeous. We are entirely happy and we got exactly what we'd hoped for. We recommend Max and Luxe Flooring 100% and would use them without hesitation on any further refinishing projects.

He ended up saving me a significant amount of money compared to other estimates by offering maintanance options since my floors were already in good condition. He and his team finished the project in a day and he even came back the next day to walk through the house with me in case I had any questions or concerns. Ultimately a very pleasant experience! Would recommend.

We're in the market for a kitchen backsplash to finish our renovations. We got 5 samples of tile from Home Depot, most arrived chipped and broken. Not to be discouraged, we decided to nix the big box brand and shop local. My parents purchased their kitchen floor here years ago, and the service hasn't wavered a bit. Their showroom is extensive, and you're greeted upon arrival. Betty quickly honed in on what we were looking for, and took us straight to the section that could meet our needs. After showing her the granite we already have, she brought out several samples and a few that varied a bit from what we said we were looking for. Well, we brought a sample home, and the one we fell in love with was actually quite different than what we thought we were looking for! They have a huge array of products at different prices. Our selection just happened to be on the low end, at $11/sq. ft. Some other marble tiles we viewed were as much as $50/sq. ft. You definitely get what you pay for - $11 was a little more than we were looking at from Home Depot but the quality of the product and the service were so much higher at Cloutier, it's worth it!
