He was asked to provide a quote in April to stain the exterior and deck of three cabins located closely together. The bid was accepted and we were told that there were a few homes in front of us that would be taken care of and then he would begin work on ours. I called several times since I was not hearing about the schedule and it was one excuse after another. Finally phone calls were not being returned and the only communication was through texting.. Since I was not sure who I was discussing this issue with, when I insisted he call, I was told that he would not be able to do the job this year and we should find someone else. This left three homeowners high and dry, having expected to have maintrenance scheduled and performed and there was absolutely no indication that this work would not be done in a timely manner. Now it is the end of September and we need to start the search process from the beginning. Do not hire this man/company unless you appreciate being lied to, put off and wasting a years worth of time waiting for Mr. Richardson to not do anything. Seems like a nice guy, though Bottom line, it is very difficult to find any reliable service related individuals that are insured, can do what they say, do so in a timely manner and communicate any issues that arise. They did a very good job. They covered our floors with paper, covered all our furniture and kitchen counters with plastic, and covered the doors with heavy plastic that contained a zipper. They repaired joint tape hanging loose, holes where we moved light fixtures, corrected various drywall imperfections, smoothed the ceilings beautifully, and painted with precision. I'm a VERY picky person and was very pleased with their services. It took about a week of living in our bedroom and going in/out the garage but that comes with the project unless you are willing to move out during construction. We chose not to move out. The entire task was worth it and getting rid of that old popcorn in exchange for freshly painted smoothed ceilings is a game changer for our house. This review asks for questions about pricing. I would say it was in alignment with other companies we received quotes from but we chose Gerry because he came highly recommended from a family member. The quality of work was very good so I would say the value was fair based on the other quotes received. Very pleased with Gerry Cusato's company. He is a very nice and honest businessman. Very difficult to find these days. We had a few issues (as with any construction project of this magnitude) that had to be addressed but Gerry took care of it. He believes if something goes wrong to make it right and desires for the customer to be pleased. I took the can back to the store where it was purchased and the store confirmed it was interior paint. Bernardo told me that they poured out the paint that was in this can and poured in exterior paint. What reputable company would do that? I'm left with interior paint on an outside porch and it's already peeling. EXTREMELY BAD EXPERIENCE!

He goes above and beyond from patching holes, sanding walls to fixing issues from previous people's work. He even swapped out a light fixture for us and swapped over several lights to LED since he already had the ladder out. Price vs quality is spot on, he isn't the cheapest in town but how could he with this kind of quality and thoroughness. He isn't your I'm gonna flip this house kind of painter but the I want you to enjoy this paint job for 10+ years kind of painter. He even stained our playground and will be back in the spring to pressure wash the house, refinish and stain front door and paint shutters. Ps.
