One item I really wanted to try while in England was Yorkshire Pudding. There is something about…read morethe way it looks, that is so attractive to me... Luckily for me, our extended family took us to a spot with a great selection of dishes with Yorkshire Pudding!
It is a large building, surrounded by beautiful greenery. It is not only a restaurant, but also an inn as well. You and your dog(s) can stay here, as it is a dog-friendly inn.
At the entrance of the restaurant, they had this adorable guestbook for dogs! And they even had some dog treats right there for your (or anyone else's) dog!
We ordered a Selection of Home Baked Breads with mixed butter. Fancy, fluffy, and delicious! For appetizer, we got Cajun Whitebait, and I got Faccombe Fried Partridge. Simple, comfy food that is elevated and tasty!
Most if the dinner dishes came with loads of sides, and oh yeah, Yorkshire Pudding! We all got something a bit different, and they all looked amazing! We had Roast Hampshire Pork Loin. It a stunning Yorkshire Pudding, like a proud crown! And the plate was huge! Mountain of pork loin, a nice amount of potatoes and veggies, pork crackling...Everything on this plate was amazing!
It was a big feast, and I was quite full. But did I stop there? No! We all ordered desserts. We had Saffron & Star Anise Poached Pear, White Chocolate Mousse, Sticky Toffee Pudding, and The Jack Russel Affogato. The poached pear was the prettiest, while affogato was the most fun dessert. All of them were superb!
The service was very nice and friendly, we were well taken care of. We had a fun dinner with lovely company. It is always great to have delicious food with friends and family you love!
