I reached out to the Brick's customer service on the day it was delivered, and they ordered a new crisper. Customer did not contact me with updates, every time I reached out they had no information to give me. Then, as the months went by I would contact them for updates and they began to simply ignore me. Multiple email went without a response from the Brick's customer service team. When I finally got a response, they were not able to tell me what was going on, still, 5 months later. The replacement part finally arrived, with no notice, 6 months after I bought the fridge and contacted the Brick's customer service about the damaged part. I have had another disappointing experience buying from the Brick. I had bought a couch that immediately started pilling and looked 10 years old within a year. They did not stand behind their product. I should have learned my lesson after my first dismal experience. I will never buy from the Brick again, and would never recommend them.

BEWARE! The last time I dealt with them, my dryer kept tripping the breaker. I called them to…read morediagnose. They didn't open the dryer to check what was wrong, but they told me about the expensive "what if it's this or that". They also didn't know anything about how it could be a breaker problem, and told me that it was just old and should be replaced. Of course they were ready to sell me a new dryer! When installing the new dryer, Dan, the owner assisted. They broke the tube for the vent and refused to fix it because "it was not their business". I argued that I need a working dryer and he said to call a handyman. After much arguing with the rude owner, the assistant kindly fixed something up. BUT IT UNFORTUNATELY DOESN"T END THERE! Same day, the new dryer trips the breaker! Now realising that my old dryer still worked, I called them to ask them to bring it back (so I can sell it). I spoke to Dan the owner again who was rude (again) and asked why I would want it back? He also wanted to charge a fee to deliver! I told him that I wouldn't pay for their misdiagnosis, and accepted a delivery from them when they were in the neighbourhood.. fast forward 1 month later, Dan called and asked if I still wanted the dryer because they were coming in the neighbourhood. She immediately showed the parts clerk our worn-out part that she was interested in finding a workable replacement for. The part in question was an adaptor that feeds the ignitor and inside lighting of the BBQ. Her reception was anything but laudable. Something to the effect, "we only sell parts to Canadian-made BBQ's" and, "tell your husband to use a match" were made in a 'not-so-polite' manner. My decision to make a purchase at McQueen's was based solely on the fact that it was a locally owned business and not a large box chain store given that you are normally given excellent customer service with locally owned businesses. Boy was I wrong! I was actually hung up on by one of the owner's for no warranted reason and then given run around for service that was suppose to be complete 4 weeks prior. Horrible customer service, followed by lies. I went into…read morethis location to be greeted by friendly, wonderful helpful staff.. Of course, they didn't have my money yet. I bought a freezer, bed and mattress, desk and coffee table, to be delivered in a few days. I arranged for them to come the same day I was moving in, and they told me they were going to call 1 hour before they arrived. This would allow me to coordinate my movers and Leons. Problem 1; they didn't call. So here I have the guys I am paying by the hour standing there watching Leons move in my stuff. Problem 2; they dented my freezer. At this point, I wasn't super upset; stuff happens. I had them note it on the bill, and went on with my day. Problem 3; the freezer was broken. As soon as I plugged it in, it mad a god awful noise. I called (This was a Saturday), they did some trouble shooting and said they would tend a technician in on Monday. On Sunday I get a call, and am informed that there technician doesn't work on freezers, so they are just going to send me a new one, and I should get it in 7-10 days. I explained that was unacceptable and he told me he would call me back after speaking to his manager. Problem 4; He never called back. He told me he was going to call back, and never did. As far as I am concerned that is very disrespectful. So I called on Monday and explained. The customer service manager called me back and suggested I take the floor model. He assured me it was in mint shape, with no dents or anything. He said he could have that out the next day. Problem 5; The freezer wasn't in mint shape. There were several dents and dings all over it. Nothing serious, but still noticeable; so much for my mint condition freezer. Bottom line, there current motto is apparently "It's all about trust" well trust me, put your trust in someone else. Oh, and please remember when choosing a retailer, Leon's also now owns the brick.
