A simple box upgrade to add an outlet, and mini split AC turned into a nightmare. During the…read moreupgrade some how the power was bridged and my house got a power surge. At first I thought it was not finished but he, the owner, told me everything should be on. It was not, I had all 3 surge protectors in my house melt, one almost caught fire and burned my rug. My dog was in that room, and he said he couldn't smell the burnt plastic and electrical smell. It fried some lightbulbs, my ceiling fan controller, sprinkler system control box, my vivint doorbell, and to top it all off they put the new box right in front of my side gate. I can't get to my backyard from my gate. No apologies, just a "Uhoh" and "Bummer". He offered to replace the surge protectors when he gets to the store, but nothing since. While they were friendly and nice, being pleasant doesn't get the work done right. I am not happy with this, as it is costing me almost what I paid them for the work to fix everything. Disappointing and never referring them to anyone.
