He stands taller and desires to do what the teachers want. He's interested in Learning ! One off my favorite things they do is a monthly , educational field trip. Because of them, he was able to see the eclipse last year. They got to go to Vincenzo's and make an authentic Italian pizza this year. And just yesterday, they toured the federal reserve. The entire staff cares deeply about these children and their goal is for every child to have a successful life. I believe my son has responded so well is due to the teacher/ student ratio being so small. My son misses school during breaks! This is his 2nd year here and I'm thrilled with the confidence my son has regained. Couldn't be happier!

Reposting from my Google review:…read more A den of thieves. We started at VMS in Jan 2020, and in March 2020 we had to pull out our child because of COVID lockdowns. VMS asked us to continue paying, which we did, because we understood that it was a hard time for everyone. We did not attend during Fall 2020 and started back in January 2021. Everything was fine. Summer of 2021 we were told students would not be required to wear masks (a requirement for us to send our child, which they knew). About two weeks after school started they reversed this decision, so we got a medical exemption for our child, as did several other parents. About a week after receiving medical exemption, they decided to reverse this as well and revoked all medical exemptions, and yet still expect us to continue paying. We even appealed to the school but were met with ridicule and condescension. We have been literally laughed at and disregarded. This is a school of indoctrination not education. It is a school that teaches children to obey and not to question. If you are trying to find a private school because you're worried about the incompetency of our government and do not want to be forced to obey their arbitrary unscientific mandates and restrictions which are imposed on public schools, this is not the school for you and I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

They NEVER let a child walk into/out of their school without a personal greeting. I would say that this is a very safe and well run school. Nicole is an excellent director, she takes good care of the kids AND the parents. You can't forget that parents write the checks. I might also add that my child learned more in Mrs. Flugman's pre-k class at this school, than she learned the next year at another location in kindergarten. Four kids in gives us some perspective, and starting with academic rigor, to community service opportunities, with extra-curricular options galore, KMHS is an incredible experience. The Magnet program is a shining star for STEM prep, consistently producing students who succeed and excel at top universities. The Magnet crew is stellar all-around, and our kids made long-term quality friendships lasting beyond high school. We've had our runs but never been an athletic powerhouse, partly due to being the smallest 7A school by far in the state (moving to 6A in '20). Despite that Mustangs have frequented state tourneys/meets, and enjoyed great developmental coaches. From personal experience, the swim coach is the best in the state. Beyond the classroom the service opportunities include Mane Link, an outstanding servant leadership organization.
