Unfortunately it is…read moreonly a very small shop and gets very cramped and busy even on the quietest of days, there really is not much room to move around and due to this I find I only go into this store when I really have to. They do sell a good range of items for a store of its size but this may be the problem or the shop just needs a total re design to make it more customer friendly. It is virtually impossible to be able to browse any item without having to continually move to make way for a passing customer and taking a pushchair into this shop would not really be possible. Which is a shame as i really do like W H Smith as a company.

Bargain Books is a very handy small shop in the town centre on the high street. As the name…read moresuggests a Bargain is to be had in there with very reasonably priced books covering many different genres. Ideal when looking for a 'cheap' gift. They also stock other stationary gift items such as calendars and diaries. It is only a small shop and can at busy times become slightly difficult to get around. Unfortunately I have recently seen yet another closing down sign on the shop window which if this does happen would be a loss to the town in my opinion.

Ok if you are after the latest bestseller this is not the shop for you but they do stock such a wide range of books that I believe you would be hard pressed to not be able to find something to read. They also stock a small range of stationary related gift items. The assistant has always been friendly and very helpful whenever I have visited the shop.
