There are two components to Franz Family Spinal Care: NUCCA Chiropractic, led by Dr. Ben, and…read moreFunctional Medicine, led by Dr. Monica. My family has had wonderful experiences with both sides of the practice. For the purpose of this review, though, I want to focus on the chiropractic care, since that's what I can personally speak to the most. I'm honestly shocked to see the negative reviews for Franz Family Spinal Care, because my whole family has had the exact opposite experience. Me, my husband, and my parents have all been seeing Dr. Ben for well over two years now, and the results have been nothing short of miraculous, especially for me and my partner. My husband fractured a number of vertebrae many years ago and has struggled with back pain ever since. Countless other chiropractors were unable to provide lasting relief, but after just a few months of care with Dr. Ben, the difference was remarkable. He's now able to stand up straighter, stay on his feet longer, and do so without constant pain creeping in. As for me, I'd been struggling with knee pain for almost five years. I had pretty much resigned myself to the idea that chronic pain was just part of my daily life now. After only a few sessions with Dr. Ben, though, the pain completely disappeared -- as in, it's totally gone. Even better is that I spend a lot of time hiking, and on the occasions when I've tweaked my knee out on the trail, Dr. Ben has been able to get me back on track quickly. And my knee feels good as new every time. What really stands out about Dr. Franz is that his NUCCA approach is gentle but incredibly effective. There's no twisting or cracking, yet the results are undeniable. He listens, explains everything clearly, and takes the time to tailor treatment to each person via a physical assessment and advanced 3D imaging. Franz Family Spinal Care has given my family more mobility, less pain, and a much better quality of life. We couldn't be more grateful and I'd encourage anyone who's skeptical or living with chronic pain to give it a try -- you may be surprised at how much better you can feel!

After learning that my L4,5&6 were herniated, I did as my regular doctor at that time instructed and went to physical therapy which caused me to almost not be able to stand upright--let alone walk. After many days and nights of no rest and excruciating pain, my husband brought me to Dr. Laney. I too was a sceptic--especially when I learned that he used non-traditional methods. On the other hand the last chiropractor that I had visited in Virginia snapped & cracked my bones until I was relieved to hear there was another way to get rid of the pain. After my first few visits, I was able to rest at night right away and in a few weeks almost all the pain had gone. Before too long, I was back to wearing my favorite high heels (against doctor's orders), yet feeling great everyday! You owe it to yourself to at least have a consultation is my opinion. He also helped one of my grandchildren who was having issues when she first started to walk--which turned out to be so much better for her than leg braces!
