Jaw dropping bouquets at wholesale prices. And I've yet to see arrangements more beautiful anywhere else. LOCATION & DECOR: Located right in the heart of downtown Grass Valley, on main Street at one of the busiest intersections in town. A hop skip and a jump from the main strip. Always full of the most beautiful flowers, bright natural light, and industrial types of decor like brick and wood panels. FLOWERS: -They pick their flowers up mostly from a San Francisco market, but all flowers are local and beautifully maintained. They've got roses of every color, lilies and gardenias and an assortment of things I didn't even know were considered flowers. Flowers that look like they were transported from an alien planet. An avatar world. PRICE: $$ -I usually get a bouquet around $40 to $50 wrapped in craft paper with a cute bow tie and they are gorgeous! If I had seen these bouquets in the window, I would think that that was an $80 to $100 bouquet. SWAG/AMENITIES: -Pre-orders -Custom arrangements -Craft wrapping paper -Vases -Color themes -Quick response STAFF & EXPERIENCE: I usually call ahead and it's Mark who answers. Kind, friendly and professional demeanor. I don't make the mistake of selecting the flowers myself. I choose a color theme and the amount I want to spend and allow for magic to happen. It's not just Mark who makes the bouquets because I've seen others working on mine before. And when I arrive to pick up the bouquets, they are absolutely panty dropping! At this point I have purchased flowers for three different women and each of them had said that the bouquets were the most beautiful they had ever seen! And as I look around at other bouquets, I would have to more than agree. And since I'm known for making my own classic arrangements and building ceremonial altars, I can't just show up with any old bouquet. These are fitting for a Taurus Moon/Libra Sun/Libra Venus who's all about beauty. They make the kind of arrangements that make a dozen roses alone look like child's play. I don't pick up flowers anywhere else because why would I? read more

My husband ordered me a beautiful flower arrangement for our anniversary on 2/28. The flowers are still so beautiful. Only the roses wilted, which is normal, all other flowers still look great. Definitely will order from Foothills again. The delivery person also carried the arrangement into my house for me since they were so heavy. Thank you so much. read more

The whole crew at Foothill Flowers go above and beyond. Whether it is a local delivery or out of town, they take care of you. I've been a customer of theirs for many years. I like the fact that I can give them a call, give them a price on how much I am looking to spent and they take care of everything, and send me a bill. The fact that they stand behind every arrangement and offer a replacement if it's not what you had expected makes them my number one choice. I look forward to doing all my flower and plants needs for many years to come. KnowPeace. read more

I have been getting Holiday table centerpieces and special ocassion bouquets from Foothill Flowers for a number of years now. I want to say that their arrangements are great and do not disappoint. The recipients are always impressed and comment on the beauty of the flowers. The deliveries are always timely. I had an issue on one order, my error, and the customer service was extraordinary and they contacted me and we corrected my mistake. This is a great florist to do business. i will continue to do so in the future. read more

I've always loved this place but... New staff completely inept and rude! Zero help, told to physically pick out my own flowers since a budget of $30 was too low for her. So I did. Then she kept trying to argue and pick fights with me. Then she tells a coworker that it cost $40 and to charge me $45. Asked to see the bouquet and it was horrendous. Zero love given to it. Looked like a kid put it together for the first time. I walked out and she kept berating me. This new nasally sounding woman needs to work as a correctional officer, not as a florist. read more

I can't say enough about Foothill Flowers and their manager Karis. The customer service was incredible! Karis was kind, patient, and worked with me diligently to create an EXQUISITE & PERFECT bouquet for a dear friend who just lost her father. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this florist and Karis. You won't be disappointed! I would give them 10 stars if I could! read more

Love Foothill Flowers. They have very fresh flowers and are always willing to put something together last minute.

Very pleased with Foothill Flowers and how smooth the service was for my bridal bouquet. They were timely when working with me via email so they understood exactly what I was looking for. As a busy bride during wedding planning, it was nice to be able to pay over the phone so it was all set to go for the big day. Pick up was a breeze and I could not be happier with how the bouquet came out. I am now working to preserve the flowers a few weeks later and most of them still look good! A great size bouquet that brought me to tears, smelled heavenly, was reasonably priced and wasn't too heavy. THANK YOU Foothill Flowers!! read more

In my 36 years in Nevada County, I have used Foothill Flowers for all my flower needs. I have always been impressed with the quality, value and service I receive. Mark and Todd are also huge community supporters (as was their mother Marie who started Foothill Flowers) and I appreciate that as well. Their storefront is beautiful, their window displays the best, and the quality and creativity of their floral arrangements cannot be beat. I highly recommend them! read more

I am so incredibly touched by the customer service from Foothill Flowers. After getting scammed by Blossom Flower Delivery, an AI "Florist" (complete with a thorough website and loads of what turned out to be fake google reviews), I was lucky enough to find Foothill Flowers. I ordered a bouquet for a loved ones birthday and wrote in the notes pleading for them to please make sure the flowers get to her, since her birthday was days ago and I had just gotten scammed from another site. I received a call from someone at Foothill Flowers shortly after placing the order. He said he was sorry to hear about my getting scammed and offered to get the flowers to her right away instead of the next day. I was so blown away by the level of caring and accommodation. The flowers were delivered quickly that same day and were absolutely perfect. I'm very grateful to have my faith restored in humanity with the kindness I experienced from the people at Foothill Flowers. read more

Flowers have always meant a lot to me, this year was no exception. I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers a few weeks ago from my son on my birthday. My son and his wife were married this past weekend on September 23, 2022, at the Miners Foundry in Nevada City. We are all native Nevada County residents and we chose Foothill Flowers for its longevity in the community and its reputation for quality. We were NOT disappointed. My son and his wife live in Colorado and this is our first wedding of this generation so I needed some guidance and support as the local contact. Mark was AMAZING. My mother (grandmother of the groom) and I (mother of the groom) printed pictures from my (future) daughter-in-law's Pinterest page and brought them to Mark with a general plan about her colors. We also requested flowers for three dogs that would be in the ceremony as well as the flower girl's pony. He didn't even flinch. The flowers he and his team put together were perfect! They were the perfect finishing touch to the rustic beauty of the Miners Foundry. In addition, working with Mark and his team was effortless. They went above and beyond in making sure we had everything in a timely manner (including delivery of the bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages) and they set up the reception area and the mantelpiece expertly. I am so impressed with the quality, creativity, and professionalism of the entire staff. I can't thank them enough for making a stressful day that much more enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend without hesitation. I hope they stay in business for another 50+ years :) read more

I got married in October and I would recommend Foothill flowers to any bride who wants live floral arrangements. Mark was very responsive and happy to meet with me whenever I needed. They also dropped off flowers at my venue on a day they weren't open. They go above and beyond, thank you guys! read more

Being that I live in Portland and my mother is in Grass Valley, I decided to look up a local flower shop (instead of going with an internet flower delivery service, like I usually do) to have a bouquet delivered for Mother's Day. I decided to place the order on Friday before Mother's Day and requested that they be delivered the same day. My mom received the flowers that day and she loved them....she said they were the most beautiful flowers she's ever received (much better than the internet sites I've used before). Thank you, Foothill Flowers for the beautiful arrangement and great service read more
