Being our first baby, we were extremely concerned about his issues with his passage way. Unfortunately, no medical professionals were diagnosing him. They were stumped. We finally got referred to Dr. Tylor, right around the time our son turned 10 months. At our first appointment, she walked into the treatment room and was able to diagnose him in 30 seconds by just looking at him. She was able to suggest a treatment plan going forward and didn't want to waste anytime. She happily answered about a million questions. Fast forward to his outpatient surgery before his first birthday, everything went off without a hitch. Her surgical team was amazing and you could just tell they respect her as the expert. Our son got a cold after surgery, and Dr. Tylor answered my frantic calls and texts around 11pm at night. I think most importantly what I want to say is...having a baby is hard already. MONSTER! BE WARNED!…read more Background: My 93-year-old mother-in-law is the sweetest, and most gentle soul on this planet. She prays for people and sees the light in even bad circumstances. She never has an unkind word toward any human. She was seen by Dr Mester to have her ear wax removed. What happened: Dr Mester for some reason decided to de-wax her ears using monstrous metal instruments and suction, rather than ear drops and water jets. He scraped her inner ears so much and so repeatedly that she began to cry. ...and the doctors response?--"Well it needs to be done!" He continued despite her obvious pain. She later stated that she would "rather have her toenails pulled out than go through at again!" Subnote: As my sister-in-law left the office with her, they both overheard this huge, burly man leaving Dr Mester's office who was bawling crying. Seems to be a common thread at his practice. End note: If you don't have basic compassion for humanity, don't be in your profession. People come to you in their hour of need and trust you. I pray you will have an epiphany and treat others with the respect and kindness and the gentleness they deserve. There is no reason this doctor couldn't have used the proven and more humane process of ear drops and water jets for removal of ear wax.

As someone who worked in the healthcare industry for a decade and a half, I always knew that Dr. Braganza was one of the best and most trusted providers in the ENT specialty within Santa Barbara County. After being given a referral, I surprisingly was able to get in fairly quickly for an appointment. The staff was friendly from the minute I made an appointment to the day I arrived at the office. I was especially thankful for the nurse that helped the doctor out. I have an odd fear of sensitive areas of the body being messed with (particularly the eyes and nose). When they told me I needed to have a quick nose scope done, they provided plenty of numbing spray (thankfully twice) and allowed me to put my feet up during the quick procedure. The doctor was extremely patient and willing to work with me even though I came off as a difficult patient. He was very thorough with his questions and suggestions. I went to visit her after trying all over the counter remedies to heal a prolonged acute sinus infection. During my initial and very thorough examination, Dr. Culver took ample time to explain the "plan of attack" and answered all of my detailed questions. She was accurate in her diagnosis and adjusted her schedule to get me into surgery at the absolute soonest date, once it was determined that surgery was imperative. Dr. Culver was very comforting pre and post surgery - (a far more comprehensive surgery than expected) and she called me several times once I was home to check on me during my weeks of recovery. My post-op appointments were thorough but efficient, and she always treated me with respect and patience whenever I had detailed questions - which was often.
