I've been a customer since the mid 2000's when Lauretta owned the store. In March 2025 I bought sneakers and slippers. I was assured by JP that I'd be able to replace the inserts for the slippers. March of this year I went to the store and was told it wasn't possible to replace those inserts. I also bought another pair of sneakers. I asked the saleswoman the price she looked at the box and said $199.00. When I got home and checked my receipt the shoes were $229.00 $246.00 with tax. It seems that integrity left when Lauretta sold the store. I've purchased many pairs of shoes at this store,but will consider going elsewhere in the future. Jill Correll read more

I wasn't so sure about the shoes that were recommended for me at first. They did not feel quite right at first. However, my foot and back pain have completely resolved. Not immediately but definitely had to do with the shoes. Really pleased. Pricey but worthwhile. Better to have a couple pair of really good shoes that you can comfortably wear all day than a closet full of shoes that you can wear for a couple hours. read more

Although staff is friendly they couldn't have been more wrong about the New Balance shoes she sold me. I paid $139 for a pair of sneakers that burn my feet and have zero support in them. Then they wanted me to pay $422 for a pair of orthotics. I saw a podiatrist the very next day and she basically told me these people didn't know what the hell they were talking about. She just wanted to sell me a pair of shoes. She completely misdiagnosed what is wrong with my feet. Now I have a pair of shoes that are useless. Never going back there again. Stopped by this store at 1pm on a Friday afternoon to purchase a pair of Oofos shoes. There was me and another gentleman in this store at the time and 1 sales associate. The guy ahead of me checked out when 2 ladies walked into the store. The sales associate that promised to be right with me immediately refocused her attention on the 2 new female customers and totally blew me off. I guess the Male customer and his money are not welcome at this business. That's ok, I'll find a retailer who wants my money. read more

I have had the best luck finding the most comfortable walking shoes and sandals. It wasn't luck really I watched Barb work with my sister and brother-in-law when they git their personal orthodics made there. I was so impressed when I saw how much better and straighter they were walking. I made an appointment for my daughter the day she arrived from NY because her feet had started bothering her. Barb made special insoles for her and I was very impressed with the difference in the walking shoes that were picked for her. Then she found a pair of sandals that fit her beautifully. She was walking better before the orthotics even came in. My daughter was so impressed she got a ticket for her partner to fly down from NY and have the same thing done. While I was there with the family I had a pair of orthotics made for myself! What a difference. I run on a regular basis and have been suffering from Planter Fasciitis for a couple of weeks and had been in severe pain. I visited Foot Solutions and Barbara did a foot evaluation and suggested that I get some custom Arch supports. I was a little hesitant at first but I'm glad I purchased the Custom Supports. I purchased the Arch supports and some new shoes and it has been about 6 Weeks now and my pain is completely gone and I am back to my regular running every day. I even went back and purchased a second pair of supports for my dress shoes because my feet have never felt better. The customer service was above and beyond my expectations. Barbara was vey professional and is very knowledgeable, She really enjoys what she does and it really shows in the time and effort she took to address my issues. read more

Never again! Beware! Incredibly disappointed with my experience at Foot Solutions at Largo Mall. On Nov 5th 2016 at noon I purchased a pair of work shoes for $165.85. Five hours later, SAME DAY, I decided to return them and I was charged a 10% fee, a fee totaling $16.85. No one told me the whole time that I was there about this fee. While processing the return, Lauretta, the store manager, with a firm attitude said that this was a "service fee", for "the time that they spend with me". This is a not a doctor's office, this is a retail business and I find this fee totally unjustified. Shame on you, Foot Solutions for not disclosing such an absurd return policy with your customers before they make their purchases and for having the nerve to charge almost 17$ for a return! read more

Excellent customer service from Lauretta. She picked a shoe that fit perfectly and looked good as well. She recommended white socks that felt amazing and that she said offer superb protection for your feet. I thought the socks were a bit pricey, but I was willing to invest in a couple of pairs because they felt so good. I will definitely return to Foot Solutions after such a positive experience during my first visit. read more

I had to purchase custom orthotics and some better supporting footwear (to avoid surgery). Lauretta made the process painless. She and the other staff members were very pleasant, welcoming and professional. Lauretta understood my problems and listened carefully to my preferences. I brought my wife to Foot Solutions in Largo, FL hoping to find a quality pair of shoes that will help her walk. The sales pitch we received was impressive and she left with a $280.00 pair of shoes. Our excitement turned quickly to sadness when she discovered the shoes caused her so much pain she couldn't wear them. Living an hour away, we went to the store the following Saturday planning to return them. A sales person encouraged her to keep trying and made an adjustment to the arch. After another week of attempting to "get used" to the shoes, my wife's pain was just too unbearable. I kept encouraging her to try maybe an hour or so then to go back to her old shoes as the sales person suggested on the previous visit. On the last day she wore the shoes she developed a small split on the ball of her foot. Being diabetic she became scared and made it clear she would never put the shoes on again. She was very upset. I took off work and made the hour trek to the store again expecting to simply return them. "The shoes just did not work out," I explained. I was told very firmly and matter-of-factly that since the shoes had been worn, they would not refund them...period. I explained that they had encouraged her to keep trying on our last visit, but the manager was very cold in telling me that once we left the store we were "on our own." Basically she told me that my wife had the opportunity to wear them in the store before we bought them, but once she wore them outside the store they would not take them back. I explained that we'd be willing to come back someday and try another pair, but obviously the little bit of profit they made on this one sale that clearly did not work out for us is much more important to them than having either one of us ever buy from them again. That is a red flag of a store that likely won't be open for very much longer as repeat business or customer loyalty is not important as compared to a quick buck in the moment. This morning, by refusing to take the shoes back and treating me as a fool and a sucker in front of their other customers for having my wife walk out of their store with a new pair of shoes, not only have they lost my family's business forever, I will definitely share our negative experience with everyone we know.
