Gonna rant for a minute!
Ad starts on Thursday morning
No signage (that evening) saying what's on special.
Nor do they have their flyer specials in stock
Front page produce items (a few old and shrivelled) at regular price.
On top of that my 9yr old granddaughter reached for a mango and shows me it's literally half rotten.
I gave up on coming in here as their ads are nowhere close to the competition and they half zero selection.
They had a few things I thought were half decent in price (the current ad) only to find they don't have them.

Sobeys, Freshco, Fooland (along with a couple others) all come out of the same warehouse. The more customer service you get or selection or generally bells and whistles... the higher the cost.
Not so with this store. The ONLY saving grace this store has is their front end staff. All the cashiers are friendly and helpful (the 1 star)

There's an LCBO that have friendly staff
Bob at the Jug City is great.
And the list goes on...
Side note;
If you're gonna pay the exuberant prices at Fooland, go to Stayner Foodland (they have selection, atmosphere, customer service, location) it scares me that their moving to the east end of Stayner read more
