This location is great - the line always moves fast and it's near the malls and parking. The coffee is more like an ice cap (think Tim Horton's style) and not really iced coffee like you would expect in the US. It's very tasty, maybe a bit more sugary than I'd like, but really a decent coffee. Not as strong as some you'll find elsewhere so I wouldn't go here if your goal is the strongest coffee around. They also sell lots of packaged coffee - very big assortment and related coffee products. I didn't try any of their bakery goods this trip but have in the past and they're good, similar to other coffee houses.

The Belgian I ordered was dark only and it was very rich, with a nice foam top. The hot chocolate was delicious and sweeter, but not too much. The pastry we got was very good flavor, but the center had a bit of a dried film on top and made the pastry harder to eat. Overall, I would go again and would definitely get the hot chocolate any time. It was lovely and tasty.

We have been drinking cafe lattes. Intrinsically, these don't vary much from place to place. As long as the coffee is not stale and the milk is fresh, you should be in business. But at Kanelsnurren, the cafe lattes are dramatically better. Better beans? The Edvard Grieg of Norwegian baristas making the espresso? Who knows? But the world perked up with the first sip. * * * But at a bakery you are there for the baked goods. They have both heavy Scandinavian breads and lighter fluffier wonders. Proof that God exists and the Universe is a Wonderful Place.
