The employees will check on items for you, the cashiers are very friendly. I forgot my wallet at home and the cashier bagged my groceries for me while I ran home to get it. The store is clean, bright and well organized and I never have to wait long to check out. The prices are good. The ONLY reason it's not 5 * is that they do have a smaller selection of items, meaning sometimes I still end up running to another store. They do however have a few specialty items like Lactose free yogurt, lactose free cheese and almond milk. My only other complaint is that they keep the good gluten free pastas (with multiple grains-they tend to survive boiling better) in with the regular pasta and the single grain pastas like rice or corn (which can turn to mush) in the GF section. Maybe at least a sign noting that there are other options available in the regular pasta aisle as it took me a few weeks to figure out where they were. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with this Food Basics and am glad they are part of our community. read more
