Here in this vegetarian restaurant you can easily get into the flow as this place provides comfy couch-chairs as well as even a sofa at the rear end of the front room. The back room is full of tables and chairs to dine in or to have your lunch. As the middle part at the corner is characterized through a big wooden table with stools around it. This leads me to my next point I want to mention: The whole interior is very stylish and artsy as well as featuring much real wood when it comes to the tables, art objects, and the ceiling which is completely out of wood. This gives a special artsy and outdoorsy atmo what plays into the relaxing flair of the Mangolds vis-a-vis. This place is the dependence (store) of the main Mangolds restaurant in the center which exists for many decades now as the institution for vegetarian food in Graz. I personally give preference to the front room facing the street with the comfy couch-chairs as it is also more light. But there is also a nice patio outside for experiencing the vibrant Grazer student's life the most. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. The folks who work here are as relaxed as the whole establishment is. I had a delicious spelt raspberry cake, as well as another time a chocolate tart, and a cheese cake a. For the main dishes I had as a snack one time a ciabatta with smoked tofu and another time a Thai burger with tofu inside. And I want to point out one more great thing about the Mangolds vis-a-vis: the opening hours are great since this place is open every day until midnight. So if you want to stay at a hip place in Graz, check out the Mangolds vis-a-vis! With Love! Dr. Dr. Immanuel Fruhmann

People leaving can oversee the terrace. Due to the closed environment not so much fresh air, even if it was outside in the evening. It has traditional Austrian food, but for tourists. I had a schnitzel that was average at most and over fried in used oil. Could feel taste of fish in the crust. The waiter was a nice lady that tried to compensate for the average food. She was nice and friendly but I was there for the food not for new friends. And last ... the prices... oau... over 20 euro for a schnitzel. All in all... if no other options... go and check it out good is safe, but if you want to enjoy it, try something else.

The staff has this typical and charming Italian accent, since the waiters are from Italy. The food is simply gorgeous, the pizzas are huge - I mean really huge - and the pasta tastes great as well and by the way so tastes the risotto and the insalata mista, the mixed salad. All is very nicely decorated dishes are fancy to look at as well as delicious in taste. Just to mention it again the pizza is not just great but huge and you easily need to put something into the doggy bag for taking home with you. I had a delicious Salami Pizza and my company had a Pizza Hawaii, as well as a hot-salami pizza called Salsiccia Piccante, and a Rucola Pizza which all came in huge sizes and nicely arranged. Oh, and just to mention it, the pizzas are super-thin and the exact opposite of a Chicago-style pizza, if you are searching for that kind of food. Here at L'Osteria the pizzas are the Napoli-style, the southern Italian pizza, which are super-thin. The interior of the restaurant comes with all sorts of arts and decoration on the wall, in this typical fancy Italian style, as Italians seem to be natural-born taste experts. Here at L'Osteria they even have an Italian-German course, which activates automatically as soon as somebody enters the restrooms. I only can say something about the language course on the men's room, what happens on the ladies' room I don't know. But I guess, the language course lessons are similar, but with exchanged roles and storylines. From Graz with Love! Dr. Dr. Immanuel Fruhmann

With a large outdoor patio, and an inside divided in the middle by two dining rooms, we felt lucky to get a table without a wait. It wasn't on the prettier side, but was in full view of the kitchen. Not exactly exciting, but it did keep me entertained throughout the meal, as I marveled at the breakneck speed with which the pizza maker threw the dough in the air and turned out pizzas non-stop. And the pizzas were very good! We shared a pizza and a pasta dish, and ate more food than we should have. L'Osteria definitely deserves the huge crowds. The food is fresh and tasty, the prices reasonable, and the service, while not particularly quick, was decent enough. You can't go wrong here.
