It is beautiful! The granite came from Galleria in Middletown and they also were awesome to work with during the selection process. Nutmeg is the best. They are patient, helpful, organized, fairly priced, and professional. John is a quiet and serious professional and just plain got the job done. Kathy never flinched over my numerous calls and questions. Nutmeg stands behind their work and we don't hesitate to pass their name on to our family and friends. Thanks very much John and Kathy.

The approach Jonathan took to explain the Nutmeg process provided me with confidence I picked the right company. Jonathan inspected and measured the staircase (twice) and explained it was a two-day process from start to finish. He was true to his word. The first day the existing stairs were removed and prefinished stringers, risers and oak treads were installed by knowledgeable and experiences carpenters . On day two, the finish painter came over and filled every nail hole and touch up painted everything to perfection. The results are outstanding! The quality of the planning, along with the expert carpenters and painters, made the entire experience pleasurable. I would highly recommend Nutmeg to anyone considering work in their home.

I really didn't like her demeanor especially towards the end of the project. She started coming up with excuses about why things weren't getting done in a timely manner. Our project was suppose to take 10 weeks and it took at least 20. I should've never trusted her, there are so many red flags now. She didn't pay the contractors who did the work here. She won't answer any phone calls or emails from anyone she owes. But she went away every weekend while our project dragged on. The backsplash was the last thing to do and the guy doing the tile said he couldn't do it because the wall was so uneven. She told him to just do it. She made him do it anyway. Then she never paid him! And we have a backslash with 3 inches of spackle behind it. It's glass tile and its cracking. I hear she's bankrupt. The guys that did work here are calling asking if we've heard from her. We paid her over $100,000,00 and I think she was here 3 times. Be careful, and don't use Cherie Carignan she owes a lot of ppl money.

The speed at which our project was completed was a huge surprise. The team were able start the week after we booked the job and, for the most part, they were done siding the house and with the portico inside of a week.
