Trying again, we arrived today shortly after the store opened. There didn't seem to be a lot of organization of the housewares at the front of the store, but I would say that the clothing was hung up nicely. I was looking for a puzzle , so I went in the back to the kid's section. This area was dirty with black specks of dirt, but as I looked more closely, I could see rodent droppings on the shelves and displays. I left pretty quickly after that, I was so disappointed after reading other great reviews of this store.

If you're a fan of thrift shops, this one is worth visiting. Located just off Rice St in Lihue, they have ample free parking outside. It doubles as a social services center in the front, with donation area at the back. Signs lead you toward the shop entrance as well. They have a lot of stuff in such a small space, with clothing, books, media, home goods, toys, etc. More valuable items are kept in the glass case or behind the counter. The shop attendants were friendly and welcoming. If you're visiting and need books to read or clothing in a pinch, this is a great option.

In my head I'm like "no, no, this is not real, you're mistaken, this is someone else's box." But NO! IT WAS OUR 2 NECKLACES! Someone from downstairs found them & brought them back up to the store. They kept them for 2 months! Even though he paid cash. Most people would have taken the $100 & resold them. Free money. But this owner did not. Definitely an authentic neighborhood thrift store with lots of items to choose from. It was very warm inside on a hot day. My youngest found a nice wallet which she ended up purchasing, but other than that, they didn't have what they were looking for. Nice setup though!
