I used to work at the university library across the street, and when we didn't have a specialty…read moremagazine that someone was looking for, we would send them to the Little Professor. They have a big selection of periodicals, including a vast selection of literary magazines, and I hear they will order something for you if they don't have it. They also have a nice selection of books as well, and I would recommend them over the other bookstores on Court Street if you're looking for language or travel books. They also keep a wide selection of chapbooks by local authors.

We were looking for school supplies we didnt find anything and left, she followed us out of the store she told the owner we were causing a commotion and when we came back the next day, the owner told us to leave, we walked all the way down to the court around where casa is about a block away and he followed us all the way there to make sure we didn't come back.

I'm used to college apparel stores being super expensive, with maybe two or three lame styles at a reasonable price. This place has TONS of t-shirts for their "crazy eights" price, with pretty much any sort of design you could be looking for -- simple, classic, cute, mascot, etc, in several colors. They also have sweatshirts and sweatpants in that same back section with the lower-priced shirts. I bought a t-shirt and some sweatpants and I can't wait to wear them. There's also tons of options for hats, stickers, mugs, lanyards, decorations, pretty much anything that could say OU or OH YEAH is in here. They also have more expensive merchandise, if that's what you're looking for. But if you want to get a gift for someone or just some merch for yourself, this is definitely a place worth checking out.

I ABSOLUTELY love Books-A-Million. As an avid reader I am always looking for new books to read and…read morethey never leave me hanging. The cashiers and employees are always so nice and helpful. It's a cute little used book store in a small strip mall off Blizzard Dr. There are three rooms to…read morethe store, with genre fiction in the first room, children & YA in the next room, and non-fiction/literature in the last. The general fiction leans heavily towards the Christian fiction and related genres, but there was some contemporary fiction like Saramago and DFW (I almost bought a copy of "Infinite Jest," but really, when am I going to have time to reread that?). Their sci-fi and fantasy collection wasn't too bad either. Prices were pretty good (the aforementioned DFW was listed at $7, and sci-fi paperbacks between $2-4). The proprietor let us know that everything is catalogued, so you could inquire about a particular title if you were looking for something specific. It looks like they also buy used books, which is good to know. They do play religious music in the store, but they also have Bible verses posted in the window, so I suppose that's fair warning.

I eat here frequently and enjoy all items on the menu. I think their lattes are great, of which…read morethey have two sizes. They serve guormet coffee and grind it themselves. Since I drink coffee there frequently and have a choice of 5 different kinds already made up and waiting in thermoses to choose from; or can place an order for a different flavor or even buy my own pound of coffee - ground or in beans, I feel they have a wonderful selection for any discriminating taste. Their fresh made sandwiches and wraps are very tasty and they feature homemade soups and pastries. The owner bakes her own pies, cakes, and brownies. The operation is family owned and you are greeted with the utmost care and service. Very attentive and willing to make you feel at home and appreciated. That is something that is lacking in many restaurants these days - care and good service. This place has both. If I didn't like the food and drink, I wouldn't be in there all the time. Since I live locally, it is very handy for good food, conversation, and just "hanging out".
