Horrible experience and not worth the money at all. The food is disgusting and wasn't even hot. You can't watch the show because it is so over crowded due to them over selling tickets. This is way too much money for them to be cramming people in the place and not ensuring people can watch the parades. They offer 3 floors but floor 3 viewing area is restricted to so call vips. They do give wristbands right before every show to a select few if you wait in line on floor 1 before the opening act on that floor. However, we quickly noticed the staff was allowing certain families to just remain in the VIP area for multiple parades which wasn't allowing others to get an opportunity to sit and watch the show. If I could do it over again I would just purchase regular tickets and fight my way through the crowd to see some of the show. It's a fraction of the price and you can just purchase a drink here and there. The tickets for the camarote are almost $700usd and it's no where near worth it. The whole thing is a money grab and they pray off of travelers coming in town to see the shows and deciding to have a memorable experience: Well, folia tropical is far from a memorable pleasurable experience. I have a memorable horrible experience that I would love to be reimbursed for. My husband had back surgery so we thought he could sit some and watch the show but that was not the case. Worth paying for and seeing carnival this way. Having some from a similar party in Salvador Bahia, I can say that other than the location, this overall was en par with most other setups. read more
