His knowledge of the products and processes was also excellent. He also answered my questions and explained what he was doing in a very professional way, not geeky and not condescending. I feel he could have finished with me earlier than he did, but he wanted to make sure I left the store with nothing to do but Quickshare from old phone to new and swap over the SIM, processes I said I was comfortable with performing. Generally, all the staff seemed to be helpful and interested in their customers, but if I need to go back again I will certainly seek out Fraser to be my salesperson.

Once the first two finished their meal, we flagged down the waitress to inquire on the missing meals. Though not usual, I ordered cake-but they did not have any (even though it was on the menu and just 1.5 hrs before the start of lunch service). Staff did not inquire when our coffee/tea was empty- requiring us to flag them down again. It was not busy either- only one other table was full- and those 3 were only having coffee and tea. They did take some money off the bill and apologized for the mess up.

So the thing is: I rarely get along with sales staff. The insincere old school "That looks great on…read moreyou" irks me no end. That's why I appreciated these staff so much. They were honest and cared about what I was looking for. They gave me educated answers which weren't overbearing salesy type responses. Not only did I walk out with some clothes of beautiful quality, which were just what I wanted, but since I had such a great experience, even seeing the brand label now elicits a feeling of happiness when I look at it. :)

Westfield Kotara is still undergoing its transformation but so far the addition of the rooftop dining and cinema precinct as well as the expansion on the second floor has me excited and I'm not the shopping type. I have yet to try Event Cinemas but I have delighted my tastebuds at Kinn Thai, San Churro, Lone Star, Crinitis.... most of the rooftop restaurants to be honest. It's a lovely space. Kmart has yet to reopen (est late Nov 2018) and Toys r Us is no longer. David Jones and Target are still the major retailers with plenty of other stores catering to all fashions, beauty and home. 3 hour free parking seems standard now with the new parking system recording your cars number plate. No more tickets. Sadly though I don't think much has been done to ease the congestion issues.
