It starts out with a warm foot bath and scrub and after doing the back and arms, Angela uses a warm/hot wet towel to clean the massage cream off. She used a warm pack on my back after the back massage. It's cooold out and there was a heated cover on the massage table. She also did a face and scalp massage which I love; if you don't, just let her know. Though it was 50 minutes, she still fit in a full body massage. The building was easy to find, but I had to call Ebony upon arriving because her shop is located in the basement and I couldn't figure out how to get there based on the door I entered. She should probably provide instructions to let clients know which door to enter and how to get downstairs when she confirms appointments. It was actually kind of scary down there to me since it was dark and there were no other offices open in the basement. As other reviewers noted, Ebony is super sweet. Very accommodating and personable. The actual room where she does the facials is really small compared to the other place I usually go. I actually mentioned to her how short and narrow the table/bed was where you lay for the procedure. The table is also right next to a wall, which is unusual as well since other places have enough space to walk around as you lay down, to provide other services, like massages. The facial was fine, but not as extensive as the ones I usually get. It's important to note that her prices are also half the cost of what I typically pay. Definitely not a luxury experience, but ok if you need a quick, cheaper facial that takes care of the basics.

This is the first time that I have been to this location and I really like it. The reception area is very nice. I was greeted by Nancy. She is very helpful and delightful. She set me up in the infrared sauna room. The sauna in this room is a very comfortable size. I liked that the door to the sauna had a window the length of the door. I have been in a few infrared saunas over the years and they seemed more closed in and one kind of reminded me of an outhouse. This one was very pleasant. Plan to just relax in this one--it is too hot to use your phone and does not have lighting to read a book. There was another infrared sauna in a massage room and I understand that one has lighting, but it is a bit smaller. In my past experiences with infrared saunas, I don't remember feeling the need for a shower immediately afterward---nor did those places offer that option. Unfortunately, Karyn's doesn't offer that option either and I really wish they did! Their infrared sauna does a very good job. They had plenty of towels available and a nice terry robe but a shower would have been really nice, especially since my massage was scheduled after the sauna. The sauna was 30 minutes and the massage was deep tissue for 50 minutes. Ecaterina was my massage therapist. She is very nice but is very serious when it comes to working on knotted muscles! She did a really good job. I enjoyed my visit to Karyn's today and look forward to my next visit - - they have added reflexology and I'd like to give that a try. I just will be booking any infrared sauna sessions last and plan on going straight home :)

No one even called me to let me know this. I dove all the way out there and not a phone call to reschedule or anything. On top of that the ladies were unprofessional because they were taking personal calls. One was talking to someone like she was talking to her best friend on the phone and the other lady who after telling me about the sewer issue got on her phone also with a personal call. At that point I was done I was going to reschedule but after that disappointing situation I'm not bothering with her services. Her products are good but the customer service is trash. They offered a discount when as I was leaving but I don't even want any type of service from them at this point.
