The fluffy feather seat cushions are nap-inducing, the soft back cushions cry out "embrace me" - all in all, a statement sofa. After a tiring and thorough slog through the furniture stores of Vancouver, it was suggested that I try Sofa So Good. It took a couple of visits, and many bouts of measuring the elevator and my entryway, before I could choose my new baby. Staff were pleasant, knowledgeable, and patient. "Hugo" is locally made in Burnaby, wood frame, solid - built to last, a good value for the price, and so-o-o comfy. Sofa stocks a great selection of fabrics, lots to choose from to suit your personality and home decor. My sofa arrived before the stated delivery of 4 to 6 weeks. The sales associate who assisted us was friendly and helpful, but we decided to come back another day to consider our options before making the purchase. When we returned, we were assisted by Amer who was just as helpful and friendly as the sales associate we met on our initial visit. We made the purchase that day for delivery the next and added on the pick up service they offer for a fee. Amer was proactive with calling beforehand to ensure that we would be home to receive the delivery, and we managed to set a time that would work for the both us. The pick up and drop off went well. We were in a building with no elevator so we decided to carry our futon down to the entrance before their arrival. Once they got here, they carried the sofa bed all the way up our staircase and into our suite. Overall, I would definitely recommend shopping at this store if you're looking for furniture. The prices are reasonable, service is excellent, and the process was efficient!

I don't often post reviews, however this time the service met all my expectations. We're very pleased with the final product. It took a little longer than anticipated but worth the wait. Their fabric selection was one of the best in terms of variety and options. Staff was helpful and friendly. They worked with our requested wood paint selection. Apparently it wasn't the normal type of finish and there was an extra charge. Any deficiencies were remedied promptly and without any pushback. Things to note is to make sure you allow enough time for fabric order to arrive, any unavoidable staffing shortages, higher demand before the Christmas season. Also time to fix anything not quite right. Easy to find and free parking.

They also sell non-Canadian made furniture as well but without customizations. There is no pressure to buy in the store and Irina is super knowledgeable and helpful. You're allowed to sit on all the couches for as long as you want. We went in wanting a Canadian-made couch but none of the ones we sat on we liked. We decided to go with a non-Canadian made sofa called "Kendra." However, when we received it, the tag said Ashley Furniture. We looked up the couch and it turns out it is indeed Ashley's "Kennewick" sofa which sells for $300 less than Pallucci. That is when we found out Pallucci sells other furniture stores' couches with increased pricing and a name change. That was very deceiving and disappointing. What is even worse is that Pallucci only gives a 1 year warranty on the couches that are not Canadian made. However, Ashley furniture (where the couch is from) gives a 3 year warranty. Pallucci has all their deliveries go through Marble Moving. I am not sure what kind of information Pallucci has given but Marble had the wrong couch and the wrong delivery date in their system. They also rarely take calls so we spent several days calling them just to clarify things. However, the movers themselves were nice and careful. If you are wanting Canadian-made then you may want to give this store a try. Otherwise, please do a reverse google image search on all of their couches. Chances are you can find it elsewhere for cheaper. On the plus side, there is free parking in the back. ---Aug 20 2023 Edit-- The owner is very nice and wanted to make amends for what happened. I was refunded the difference between Pallucci's price and Ashley's price. He told me that although they don't hide that they sell other furniture stores' furniture, and they will only tell you where it is from if you ask. He only buys the ones that he knows are good quality. He clarified that they will do price matching on items that are still in stock in the other furniture's website. I have changed my review from 2 stars to 4 stars because the Owner has admitted the misunderstanding and wanted to correct it. I think an improvement is to be more open about where the furniture is from. Having it in the price tag of the product would be good. I had really assumed that Pallucci was selling Pallucci-made Furniture and I think many people also think as I do - even when I look at used furniture on Craiglist/Marketplace, people write "couch from Pallucci".
