Such a great experience and totally worth the money! Brandon and Jessica (sp?) made the experience that much better! If it's your first time, 30 minutes is a good starter for you. Make sure to keep your legs straight when ascending. That was the hardest concept for me to grasp because it goes against all else I've learned. They are located right behind the main building and you can park in the lot connected or at Pinchers. I'd definitely recommend doing this and going here!! read more

We came down to Cape Coral to visit my parents. My mom bought a Groupon for $19 for a four-hour kayak excursion for one and a $39 for a four-hour kayak excursion for two. Phillip and I, along with my dad went. It's normally $40 for 4 hours kayaking. We showed up at the Getaway Marina around 9:40am, the time started at 10am-2pm. The little office for FMB FlyBoarding is located behind the main building for Getaway Marina. The guy that greeted us was nice and had us sign a release form. The form basically said that we wouldn't be able to sue them for anything and that FMB wasn't responsible for anything. There was also 3 bucks that we had to pay him because of some 'tax' that wasn't factored into the Groupon. We got the kayaks and he showed us a map of the different areas we could go. He showed it on map that was laminated. We didn't get to keep a map with us, which would've been nice. The way you get into kayaks is rather easy. They've got a set up with a bar that you can hold onto and then step into the kayak and sit down into the kayak. It's a little hard to get out of it on the way back, however. We went under the bridge and around the mangroves for a while. It was a sunny day and we enjoyed the trip around. We came back round noon and took a 15 minute break and then went back out. We went around the houses on the east side of the marina. I preferred the mangrove areas to the housing canals. read more

We did the FlyBoarding & it was a BLAST!' Did 30 minute option & I HIGHLY recommend doing at least 30. I feel 15minutes would have been too short to fully enjoy it, learn how to do "tricks" etc. 30 was not too long, not too short--perfect. Fantastic crew employees who were helpful, courteous, & friendly. We also got the picture & video disc which beforehand I was thinking "ahh we don't need it". These guys were awesome. Gave us a great military discount and told us where to go to see the best wildlife. We saw two manatees on our paddle boarding trip and some dolphins too!! It was a little windy at the beginning of our journey so they gave us some paddling tips and their number to call in case we needed a boat ride back to the marina. Spent a day kayaking with a friend, we got a groupon. The place is kind of hard to find since it's behind the marina building. I always see the building when I drive by but you just have to park in the lot and walk towards the water and you'll see a sign. I had a good time kayaking and the guy who helped us was friendly. I'd prob come back again to explore a different side of the bay. We went towards the mangroves so next time I'll prob go towards the beach. The owners are wonderful. Super friendly and very accommodating. My son, myself and my parents went on a boat tour and got to enjoy some time with the dolphins. I was surprised how active they were and how close they got to the boat. It was very cool. Highly recommend FMB FlyBoard! read more

We were visiting family in fort myers and decided it would be fun to go kayaking for the day. I found them on groupon for $30 for 4 hours for 2 kayaks which is a steal! We called the next morning to make a reservation for the same day and luckily they still had kayaks. we went on a wednesday during spring break and the parking lot was pretty crowded but we found a spot. we followed the signs to their desk and they got us found right away. we had been kayaking before so we didn't need a lesson but he showed us a map and showed us which way we could go. we started by going towards the the beach areas and then back to the housing track which was kinda boring. we made our way to the mangroves but couldn't find the cool paths we saw in pictures. on our way back, I spotted a dolphin who hung around for a good 30 minutes. it was such an awesome experience. DONT FORGET TO WEAR PLENTY OF SUNBLOCK. because of airline restrictions, we only brought a small tube of 30 SPF sunscreen. we applied before going on the water on our arms, legs, and faces. I got second degree burns and became very swollen because of the sun hitting us off the water and over top of us. this is nothing against the company hence the 5 star review, just a reminder. we would definitely use this company again. read more

My husband, daughter and I decided to give flyboarding a shot while vacationing. Glad we did. Husband and daughter caught on pretty quickly. I on the other hand took a bit longer. I am the most unathletic person, but I was able to fly. In other words, if I was able to do it then anyone can. Bryan -the owner- and his assistant were so patient and positive throughout the entire hour and a half. Very professional and genuinely wanted you to learn and have a great time. This was definitely the best part of our trip (and we did quite a bit). Please try it out, I promise you will not regret it. read more
