Started with putting some filets in the cooler, Red fish, Trigger fish, handful of other stuff. Everyone caught as much as they wanted. Then Capt Joe put us on some fighters. The "dudes" thought they were ready to pile them on. But after one, good 15 minute fight, each, we'd had enough....! Great boat, great fun... We will be calling him again. Thanks Capt Joe and Mr Zach for a great time...

He definitely put our kids in mind when it comes to fishing and making sure the whole family have fun! The whole family were actively catching fish the entire time. We saw dolphins along the way which he stopped for photos and videos. Our kids were so happy watching the dolphins swim by! Also, he took great family captures of us while on the boat and also on the dock with our freshly catch. Mike was also nice enough to filet our fish for dinner and suggested his son's restaurant to go for the cooking - which was delicious and amazing! We had such a great experience going on this fishing adventure with Mike that we want to book with him AGAIN in the future when we are back in Destin, FL. Seagulls and pelicans patiently waiting for boats to dock trying to make a catch then all of a sudden it pulls in. One of the nicest boats I've ever been on in my life. Heading out with pure power and top of the line equipment 15 minutes in already had dinner swimming our way. A few stops and quick grabs was a blast as we got further out starting seeing fish I've only ever seen pictures of. 6 hours wasn't enough but ideal for first timers id imagine. Next trip 12 or more no questions. I was left wanting one more catch just one more. From beginning to end was hands down 5 star treatment. You're not dealing with a business like fishing charter the Captains wife kept me informed on everything answered every time I called with new questions even on a Sunday spending time with family. Just so happened to be horrible weather coming on the day of our trip and I called and asked last minute if we could change and without hesitation they made adjustments even as busy as they were. That showed me right then and there I found the best in the business that was willing to accommodate me for the best experience ever. I highly recommend Backlash. Deck hand was all in and very knowledgeable and kept the trip fun and took care of everything. Even made a delicious snack while we fished. "Water 2 Gut" fish is what I called. Fish probably still had a heart beat while we were eating the rest of em. Never had fresh fish like that. Cant wait to go again. Thanks Again! Backlash
