Černý rytíř - The entrance is deceptive. The store is actually in the back.

If you're in Prague and looking for a place to play or buy Magic the Gathering, Pokémon, or Star…read moreWars Unlimited, this is the place to go. A dedicated gaming store they also have board games, Warhammer 3000, and a few other assorted games but MTG, Pokémon, and SWU are the big three. They also run regular tournaments. Big plus for a traveling American - they speak English! SELECTION: Especially for their core games they have a great selection. Some singles including a bin for less expensive cards. They sell quite a few dice also. Not many collector boosters but I found those hard to find everywhere. Either there isn't a big market for them or they just sell out fast. SERVICE: Overall very good. Nice and helpful and the store is well organized and clean. The gaming area is the same. Overall a place you would feel comfortable in. COST: Competitive pricing is generally better than the USA. Good value for the money.

The shop itself isn't visible from the street, you have to look for the sign on the #21 building; there is a brass plaque on the wall and a small sign overhanging the street. Go straight in the double doors and straight back, you will see the entrance right away. Staff speak good English and the shop is clean and well lit. They have a good selection of RPGs (mostly in English with a couple of native Czech games), board games and what looks to be a full line of Games Workshop/Warhammer. Magic, however, appears to be the shop's biggest focus. If you are in Prague and a magic player (I'm not), this is the place to be of an evening. They run tournaments almost every night.
