Have only had coffee here once on a cold quiet winter Tuesday but it was very good. Lovely place.

Beautiful location, awesome staff, and amazing food. My friend and I popped in for lunch on Monday,…read moreand really enjoyed the experience. We both had the chicken parmi, and I added a flight of the local brews. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for the hospitality!

Based on the meal alone, I could not recommend this venue or choose to re-attend…read more A warm, limp salad with no distinguishing flavours or textures perfectly complimented the cold, soggy, over-salted chips. These delights were the sides to the 'Porterhouse', smothered with a powdered packet gravy; most likely to cover the sinew, fat and colour of the poor quality meat. Sure, it was well and truly over cooked as well, but at this point I wasn't prepared to wait for a replacement nor take my chances again. Then we get to the 'service'. To add insult to injury, the 'Public Holiday Surcharges' took this meal to over $36 + 15% on drinks too. When I asked why this charge was being incurred on a day that wasn't a public holiday, the bar staff snapped at us to say it was because she was getting $50 an hour that day. Well done, love. I could cop this surcharge if the venue were staffed suitably, however not only is the entire venue serve yourself, but: - Waited to be seated for 10 minutes. - We had to go and find a waitress to take our order after standing at the register for 5 minutes. She never explained nor mentioned the surcharge. - Wait for service at the bar was 15 minutes as only 3 staff were on. When I queried the price of a beverage versus drinks list, that's the first we heard of any surcharge. - Meals took 45min. When we asked why, a waitress told us it was as the kitchen was on 'skeleton staff'. So the 15% obviously wasn't to cover the staff then. At the conclusion of pushing our food around on the plates - which remained with us for 30min as we finished our drinks - we left, walked around the corner and ate elsewhere... WITH NO SURCHARGE! I guess a venue like this thrives in spite of itself due to lack of options in the area and being a Mecca for tourists, as that's about all it has going for it.
