Fly With Kate is a great place to go for flight training, scenic rides, aircraft maintenance, and anything aviation related. The aircraft are well kept and the prices are reasonable. The owner is reliable, professional and a dedicated member of the aviation community. We are lucky she picked Ellenvile to setup shop. Based at Joseph Y Resnick airport in Ellenville, the location couldn't be more perfect. Resnick Airport is easy to fly in and out of and within a reasonable drive from most anywhere around Ulster county. The airport is usually quiet and is ideal for practice laps around the pattern. The surfaces are well kept and it's easy to get to the many other nearby airports for tower and cross country practice. If you haven't flown before or are new to aviation I would encourage you to take an introductory lesson. You can even go up with family or friends on scenic rides and sight seeing around the Hudson Valley. Intro lessons make great gifts and gift certificates are available too! Kate has been my flight instructor for the last 6 months and I am close to getting my Private Pilots License. I feel that I am learning more than the bare minimum and am gaining the knowledge and confidence to be a safe, proficient, and professional pilot.
