Dec 26, 2022 - Flight AC336 YEG-YUL was being delayed and would cut it very close to our connecting flight from YUL-DOH. I contacted FJ travel to see what we should do. I received some fluff and no help from them. This gave me an unsettling feeling from FJ. My initial feelings were, this is your problem now. We landed in Montreal at 9:30pm and missed our connecting flight to Doha. I spoke to FJ on the phone, it was the Travel Manager Omar, he was not willing to do anything from his side. I was stranded at YUL, I couldn't find the Qatar reps, our bags were missing and the travel agent I hired is not willing to help. He said he'll talk to the owner and get back to me. I ended up re booking my own flights with Qatar for Dec 30. I told FJ about our new schedule and told them to re-book my Makkah hotels since I will miss them and not to mention I will be unable to perform Umrah at the same time as my parents and brother from Toronto. They were note willing to do anything. At this time, I'm thinking what actual value did I get from going with FJ travels? Dec 27-30, 2022 - Waited in Montreal. I connected with Javed (owner of FJ travel) and he started the conversation off by laughing and asking what happened? I was baffled. Are you kidding me? I asked him if he spoke to Omar, he said no. I was even more confused. I explained my situation, and he played it off like he didn't know anything. I asked him to get the hotels re-booked in Makkah and send me the details. He told me that booking is gone, money is spent, he can't do anything. He said listen, let's save your trip by getting you to Madina first, then Makkah. He told me because of this change, ground transportation was going to be private and will cost $850. I paid him via e-transfer. I said, what about the hotels? He said, don't worry we have until Jan 4 to settle it out. I will call the hotel and plea our case. I told him I don't want to be stranded in Makkah without a hotel, so just get it done. That was the last conversation I had with FJ before I departed Montreal. So at this point, I'm under the assumption that everything is good. Dec 30, 2022 - Jeddah Airport. Lack of coordination with transportation. We arrived at the airport, expecting someone to meet us, maybe even holding a sign that says FJ. Nothing, nobody. Dec 31st, 2022 - Madina. I texted FJ asking for an updated on our Makkah hotels, I received the following message: "Did you speak to the hotel about your issues and did they provide you alternate dates? In not, you need to do it yourself?" Wow. Really? I'm thinking again, what did I pay you for? I asked him to do it, he came back with different hotels than the Swissotel, and they were even pricier than what I found online. I ended up booking it myself. I sent him a text telling him that i'm disappointed and that I will be writing a google review and filing a formal complaint with TICO and BBB. His reply blew my mind. F words, A words, insinuating that I should not have been born, threatening to take me to court. We are talking about a professional business, a Muslim no less, who sells Umrah and Hajj packages, and this is the customer service I get? Unfortunately, Javed needs some coaching and mentoring on customer service and accountability. Take a deep dive into your life and figure it out. As a Pakistani Muslim business owner, you are our in the public eye. Lead by example. Shameful. You are going to have to deal with angry customers, your job is to help, not gas light. Learn to take constructive criticism and come out of it with an amicable solution. Couple of notes: - Ziyarat tour in Madina was not in English. - Private van from Madina to Makkah was not private. We shared with a group (2 females) who also were not happy with FJ. What a surprise. - We did not have a guide for Umrah. Luckily we prepared well in advance, but still, what did we pay for? - No Ziyarat tour in Makkah. I paid for it, but didn't get it? - Other FJ tour members were dissatisfied with level of customer service and coordination

Review for Zoom Tours Niagra Falls ---1 star and…read more Tour Guide, Garry---4 stars 4 Stars for our Tour Guide First, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our personable, kind, respectful, knowledgable, and hospitable tour guide, Garry, with Zoom Tours to Niagra Falls on July 15th, 2026. Garry had a great sense of humor while also being earnest. We learned a lot, laughed often, and enjoyed the other tourists on our bus. 1 Star for Transportation (false advertising) The bus however, was advertised by Zoom Tours as: "Transportation by luxury minibus or motorcoach". As a former teacher who has taken students on numerous field trips, this was nothing fancier than a school bus:  the vinyl seats were horribly uncomfortable, and unlike a school bus, had no seatbelts.  To make matters worse, it appeared that the bus had zero shock absorption and poor suspension, as every nook, cranny, and bump were felt the entire trip. There were countless instances that all of us were jarred forward or up from our seats, through no fault of our driver.   Fifteen minutes into the tour the microphone began to produce annoying static until it eventually broke and did not come back on until the last quarter of the trip on the way back, which was still annoying because it was still producing static, making what the driver said undecipherable. We received a solicitous email from Zoom Tours after the tour requesting a review. I sent them a private email with the details in this review and they replied with an apology for our disappointment, an explanation, "due to an unexpected equipment change on the day of your tour, we had to substitute the originally scheduled vehicle to avoid cancelling the tour altogether". While I can appreciate "last minute" problems, this company also states that customers must give 24 hours cancellation notice in order to receive a full refund. We did not receive ANY notice of a change in "equipment", therefore not giving us a chance to proceed or cancel our tour. Zoom Tours' offer of a "small token of $50 Canadian Dollars" does not match the $294.68 U.S. dollars that we paid for something that we did not sign up for. We are very disappointed that Zoom Tours did not provide us with the ability to cancel as well their lack of adequate compensation for the many uncomfortable hours we spent on the full day bus tour to and from Toronto and Niagra Falls.

Overall, great new cars, on time, ok cost, and good drive... so why the 3 stars only? The driver behaviour is what made is just a bit 'blah'. I called into their toll free line and they were quick to respond and take all my information to get the airport limo booked in 5 days advance. I liked how the driver came in early and waited nicely on my driveway till I was ready to leave. The car was spotless and new. I appreciate how the driver was clearly not new to driving in Canada and went at a good pace on the 401. In addition to that, it was clear that he was a very safe driver and anticipated the other driver behaviours. He was able to make polite conversation throughout the route without being too personal. That was a nice touch. When it came to paying the driver, the amount given was no issue but as I swiped my credit card, it came up with a choice of 3 tips ... 16%, 18% or 20% tips. This tip amount was definitely high and out of my company's policy so I gave him what my company allows (12% max). When I handed him back the credit card terminal, he made a face that was clearly unhappy and a dirty look. He didn't even bother to say good bye as he dropped my bag in the middle of the road instead of the sidewalk by the terminal. It was a stark contrast to the behaviour during the drive. I get that he wanted more than 12% tip... but his final behaviours definitely didn't earn it or repeat business from me. I'm going back to my other airport limo service.

Great ride and same price as the miserable ride our friends had in a regular taxi (same time, same day): they paid the same as we did, but the taxi was smaller and they felt crowded, the taxi stank of cigarettes and our friends had to keep a window open, which of course let in the fumes and hot air of a Tonto summer's evening commute. Going back to Pearson, our town car driver was at the hotel at 5:15 am as requested. The car was even cleaner than the first - polished beautifully outside and in, the driver even more polite and very proud of his car - with good reason! My husband gave him a $20 tip. Unheard of! Alas, our friends didn't think ahead to call and were stuck once more with a smelly, dirty taxi.
