I really like this place and would definitely recommend it. I purchased a five-class pass, and the…read moresignup process was super easy once I created an online account. Booking classes online is straightforward and convenient. I think there's a cancellation window for cancelling if you can't make it. During class, one student arrived after warm and was told she couldn't join since she was so late. So make sure you arrive early! I came to a Tuesday class, and my instructor, Ariel, was absolutely amazing. She's patient, encouraging, and truly works with everyone in the room. She walks around during class to make sure everyone is performing the moves correctly and gives helpful pointers and tips on how to execute the moves effectively. What I really appreciated most is that she meets you where you are and provides individual feedback tailored to your level, which made the class feel very supportive and beginner-friendly. The only thing I wish I had known ahead of time is that sometimes you have to share a pole, depending on how full the class is. If I'd known that in advance, I probably would've chosen a less crowded class. I'm not a huge fan of sharing a pole, but in the end, it worked out fine and didn't take away from the overall experience. Overall, it's a great studio with excellent instruction and a welcoming atmosphere. I'm glad I signed up and look forward to taking more classes here!

I rarely write review but this is truly worthy of this sit down and write. The review by Rudi P…read morebelow does NOT reflect how her other students feel. I began training with Lorelei roughly one year ago having been injured and out of shape. I had trained briefly in aerial at an amateur level but since the injuries I was very nervous of climbing back up. Since then I have gained strength and balance, increased my flexibility and am encouraged always to climb higher than my expectations. I am friends with other students of hers and none of them have said these things regarding her teaching. Lorelei has treated my health and fitness in her gym as sacred and has worked continuously with me being supportive and encouraging. Also, she really is FUN. I work my butt off there and laugh and sweat the entire time. Please take what that reviewer said with a grain of salt, some people are just difficult to make happy. Thank you Lorelei for all your work with me!! I have trained at the world famous Cirque School LA, where from Lorelei was highly recommended to me and they were beyond truthful!

Before starting with her, I was weight lifting on my own and making very little progress. (Admittedly, I hate weight lifting, but was doing it anyway.) The best part of Gravity Defying Fitness: IT IS SO MUCH FUN! Now, I look forward to my training sessions every week. I learn a fun, cool skill and enjoy getting in shape while I do it. Lorelei is very professional and easy going. She makes every effort to accommodate my schedule when changes need to be made without complaint. And during training she pushes me just the right amount so I get that after-workout soreness that says I worked hard and got stronger but without feeling injured or strained. I never would have imagined that, as a guy in my 40's, I would be able to flip around and do tricks on a trapeze or aerial silks. Oh, and did I mention: IT IS SO MUCH FUN!! Now my 2 kids are loving classes with her too. Ian Z.

When we got there, we weren't really sure where to park but I called them quickly and they told me where we could go and the area looks really sketchy to be honest. There's like a painted sign with arrows telling you where to go in a warehouse, probably not the best place to go after dark, but the room for the silks is right there to the left when you walk in the garage door and Alex was there waiting for us. It's definitely a little bit of a workout and I was sweating a bit too but it's a great activity to do with your girlfriends and you get a lot of action shots while you're up in the air. You get a complimentary fruit or dessert tray with the party and we also paid for the charcuterie board and they were great snacks between your turn on the silks. We also had a group picture with the big ring that I sat on in the air as Alex posed everyone else and she sent the pictures to us after as well. Alex was super accommodating and worked with me with the booking and she was the one who instructed us and was very helpful to anyone who was struggling or uncomfortable. When you book a private party like that, I think you also get a discount for the next class you take so some of us are very excited to come back and do it again! You'll feel really graceful and confident while you're in the air with the silks. I had good reviews from all my ladies.

I'm hoping they add additional classes, since the kids' class on Saturday is sort of crowded and the adult classes are on the weekends or in the evenings. And I want to take a class so badly! Y'all, it looks like a blast! I think this place is fantastic and I can't wait to climb into the silks and fly!
