This is one of the free things to do in flint. It is about 4.5 stars. The stepping stone is a man…read moremake water fall with beautiful design on the flow of water downstream. There are two entrances to the falls. I would suggest go to the Branch Road entrance is closer to the falls. The one located near Bray Road is more area for the fishing. The fall is cascading down the step like stepping stone which match the name of the attraction. I like it multiple falls section which make it unique. It has several photo spot. Great to have it.

I appreciate having places to walk around. When I went to Huckleberry Railroad last year I did not…read morerealize this was an extension on the other side, so that makes the area even better if you are interested in outdoor adventures. Where we parked there was a path to get to the falls. They are not really falls, just a man made dam with concrete steps on several levels to check out the water. I could see people were able to have canoes on the lake and there was a beach and playground off to the distance on the other side. Another part of the park maybe? A lot of people were walking around with their kids or come go fishing. So it was a nice family area. I realize I am more of a resort pool with a lazy river girly, so I am not in love with the many swarms of gnats but that is me. If you are outdoorsy, this is a nice place to visit. Paired with Huckleberry railroad would be perfect.

There's also a covered pavilion and lots of benches/picnic tables throughout. Dogs are allowed on leashes so you can include the whole family - even the fur baby. There is also a nice pond and water feature to walk around, and nature trails in the back. They have some fun lawn games to play near the pond too. One trail has a bridge that connects all the way to the green space on the other side of the Clinton River. My personal favorite is the pond with turtles that you can find lounging on logs on sunny days. There's even a kayak launch and other access points into the Clinton River. Tons of wildlife to view - we've seen plenty of deer, chipmunks, squirrels, turtles and cool birds. There is on-site paid parking (and free overflow across the street) but otherwise the park is free, which is really nice. I always see workers riding around in a golf cart emptying trash, making sure the park is clean. They even have bathrooms and a kona ice truck that I've seen on weekends. What more could you want?
