I guess you can't expect too much from a restaurant in a touristy area but I guess I had higher…read morethan normal expectations since I was in France. Then again, look at the crap on offer to tourists on the Champs-Élysées. But I digress.
I got a 3 course menu and was hopeful when I saw the salad, simple but tasty. However things did turn south very quickly. The wine (the most expensive option at €29) was very poor, a red Sancerre which was think and sour. My main was a chicken breast in what seem a poivre sauce. The chicken was almost inedibly tough and really, how hard is cooking a chicken breast? On the positive, the chips were pretty nice and the apple tart was very good. The service was slow and the environment was bland. Overall, I wouldn't go back.
