During this magnificent year at ELC in Boston, I have felt that I'm at my second home, which made my abroad trip less easier. I had achieved my 2 goals. First of all, I learned and I improved my English due to the fact that before I came to this English school I had no English and I'm now totally ready to study in a university at USA and thanks to all my teachers at ELC. Second of all, I have met so many friends from many countries and they have made the world look so great because ELC is such a social place.

I consider ELC as my home and the staff are my family. They are all so helpful, kind and happy to help me in everything. When I came here for the first time, I couldn't speak English very well and I was so shy to speak English, but the environment of ELC encouraged and helped me to release the good English student inside me. The only thing that I don't like in ELC is saying goodbye to the people who I love. Sooner or later I will be the one who says goodbye ELC , I have spent the most amazing moments of my life with you . P.S : Janet is an amazing teacher,DO NOT miss any class with her.

The office in Boston is full of great and experienced staff, very relevant and hands-on lessons, and your students are very diverse given the school's central location in downtown Boston (Faneuil Hall). It was a great experience, and I know friends that already have jobs lined up! Definitely check it out!

I've taken two (Spanish & Mandarin) of the three bootcamps that are offered currently, and each one you will leave with what you've learned seriously stuck in your head. They teach practical stuff that you can remember and use right away. The classes are small and the people are friendly; I can't imagine learning a language any other way now. Italian is next for me!

They also offer immersion programs in other countries which is awesome! The teachers are very passionate and knowledgeable and the location is super convenient. I though that I would miss my family, my country, or my culture, but being able to spend the day with people from around the world is just priceless and makes me appreciate even more where I came from, and who I am. The quality of the classes didn't have comparison, they are the BEST LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN BOSTON. The teachers at BSML treated me like family, and all the staff made me feel at home. The building is awesome! and I like the fact that there are many activities every day. There's was a brand new table tennis table, a foosball table, baseball gloves and balls, soccer balls and every couple of months the school runs a tournament and provide snacks and drinks for everyone, that was one of the things I enjoyed the most, not to mention my ability to write this review, which months ago, It would have been impossible for me. :)

Across the board, each and everyone praises New England Law and when I needed to make the commitment recently between New England, Suffolk, and Roger Williams, it wasn't difficult. **Having gone through the admissions process extensively over the previous months, I write this review specifically in regards to that aspect of the schools and their staff. While Suffolk seems to respond in the manner of a generic school with non-personable tactics and interactions, New England breaks that mold. Every member of the admissions department from the initial admissions counselors, to the director, and even the scholarship committee, treated me with the utmost respect and courtesy. I became reenergized and excited in the pursuit of my JD and looked forward to meeting my professors and classmates. Simply put, New England Law is a great school and produces talented alumni, but more importantly, personable people who also want to see others achieve great things. ***Roger Williams was a nightmare process and took 4x the effort and time than the other institutions. In the end as a life-long Rhode Island, it hurt to choose an out of state school, but I couldn't put myself through 4 years at a place that couldn't treat me as a human being. I view the RWU Dean (both past and present), many professors, staff and even some current students in high esteem, but personally, if you're looking for a law school for 3/4 years of your life... got to New England (or Suffolk, if that's your style).

You like torture and want things that you dont really need. You want a JD. Well, be prepared to give up all of your hobbies, your family, friends, your significant other, your insignificant other, that cute boy you've been crushing on, your bank account, gain 50 ibs and have no life for several years and then work like crazy to pay off those loans. Still reading? Ok, its bad, but it makes you stronger and smarter (in most cases, some people do lose their minds). This is a law school. Its alright, but I dont know any better but heard some bad stories, so overall its alright. Location - right in the middle of the theater district, 2 blocks away from Boston common and public gardens, bunch of T stops around, etc. Location is not bad, discounted parking is available at the radison ramp. Edunamukation - overall pretty good. There are some real gems, most of the reviews are quite accurate, read ratemyprof.com for details, but most of them have real life experience in addition to superb education. Adjuncts are mostly very nice and their classes tend to be easier then those of full time faculty. There are about 8 classes taught by judges, take those. There is one prof you should avoid. PM me and I will let you know. Social life - its a small school, but if you join the right organizations you can get free lunch and or dinner 2-5 times per week. Bunch of events and free pizza. Administration - I never had any significant problems, Fin Aid office is extremely helpful. Registrar takes its time releasing grades, so beware. Bar - they prepare you well. 93.7% of our graduates passed the July 2010 bar, so whatever tier it is, it does its job.

Looking at the breadth of their event calendar, from German language classes, to live music performances, film and techno happenings, it's surprising that their programs are not more widely known and publicized. The space offers a library chock full of German publications and a Baroque-style ball room. A nice place to throw a small soiree, though the real draws are the cultural events.

It's in a great location in a lovely old building and it's just fun to go each week for class. The classes are well taught and I've always had nice teachers, I feel like I have a good hold of the German language, up to Level B2.3, which is middle-high intermediate. GI offers tests too, like the DaF (the german as a second language test) and various other ability level tests you can register for. They host a litany of cultural events too- music, film and their 'wein-bar' social sessions. Their library is nice and has a good variety of German videos, books, and magazines. My favorite little thing about the GI is the PINS. I have as many as I can get away with having. I love my "GEIL" and "QUATSCH" pins the most.
