I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves to be shared. While my wife was peacefully selling her flowers, she was approached by the owner of this business and treated with unnecessary hostility and disrespect. This was especially upsetting given that she has a proper business license and explicit permission from the coffee shop to collaborate and sell on their property. There was no attempt at a calm or professional conversation--only rudeness and confrontation. It's disappointing to see behavior like this in what is generally a friendly, community-oriented city. Local businesses should be supporting one another, not policing others with entitlement and poor attitude. Unfortunately, this interaction reflected someone more interested in asserting control than showing basic decency. Do better please.... read more

Took engagement photos nearby and it was highly suggested that I bring some kind of prop, and given my dog was in norcal many 100s of miles away a bouquet seemed like a great option / alternative :) Problem was, I had only two days to secure a small bouquet for the photos! So I looked to Yelp and found Sabour flowers who promptly responded back to my emails with an estimate. With very little back and forth and just one picture, Maryam instantly understood what I wanted and made me the most beautiful bouquet! I had a small surprise birthday party and the day before the party at 5 pm, I realized the table needed flowers. I called multiple florists and no one could help. However, I did receive a call back from Sabour and she went out of her way to make the floral arrangements for the party based on the info I gave over the phone call and with very little direction. It was my daughter's wedding day on January 21, 2023 and Flowers By Sabour delivered a gorgeous array of white flowers to Mastro's Ocean Club in Newport Beach! Two tall arrangements with roses, hydrangeas, and orchids adorned the table and another rectangular arrangement sat above the outdoor fireplace. Maryam meticulously arranged over 40 candles making our entrance into the room magical! She also made matching corsages and boutonnieres and a stunning bridal bouquet. I called and had a long conversation about my request for an impressive flower arrangement from a prominent CEO for the funeral of a close colleague. I asked for roses but Maryam said they would cost more due to the current import situation. I asked her to make something as close as possible to two or three dozen white roses without any fillers. We discussed using orchids and lilies instead. Much to my horror, this is the arrangement that was delivered. I told her how disappointed I was. She continuously talked over me, argued with me, told me how many big clients she has, and finally said "sorry I worked within your budget." $300?! She charged me $285 for this pathetic arrangement.
