"Yesterday, I experienced one of the most traumatizing experiences of my life. What was set to be a day to remember is definitely a day I will never forget. Anyone who knows me or who has crossed my path, can tell what kind of person I am. I have never been in any kind of trouble before let alone have someone call the police on me. I cannot tell you where to do business, but I would highly recommend that you do not patronize Tuxedo Inn or Flowers By Rita and Custom Framing for any of your needs" read more

Last minute I decided to get flowers for the Mrs. and decided to try this place out... let me tell you the folks that run this business run it with passion. Within minutes they were able to get this beautiful arrangement together, the picture does not capture how nice the flowers look in person . I was well taken care of with quick courtesy service, kindness and professionalism. Will be back soon. read more

I typically don't leave reviews and feel very uncomfortable about leaving a bad review but this is an incident that cannot go unsaid..... I contacted Flowers by Rita last week and spoke to an older gentleman and ordered an arrangement for my mothers funeral which is being held today. I specifically told the older gentleman that my mother's favorite flowerers were daisies and white roses. The gentleman told me that they did not have white roses and the only daisies they had were yellow. I then told him yellow daisies were perfect and red roses would do as well. I just went to pick up the flowers and didn't notice until driving away that there was not a single Daisy in my mothers arrangement. I called him right away as I was just down the street and told him and he came back to me and said that we had decided to not put daisies in the arrangement. What??!!??!!?? He said if you want to turn around I'll stick a couple if daisies in there for you and hung up on me!! When I pulled back up to the store, he snatched the vase for me, stuck two daisies in the arrangement and gave it back out without any apology. This kind of behavior and customer service is unacceptable especially on the day of my mothers funeral. Very rude man and do not recommend Flowers by Rita. read more

I've been contacted by the owner of Flowers by Rita. I've attached it below. I'll gladly concede there was a communication problem that contributed to my experience. However, I'm not willing to delete my review...only modify it. It is not "totally false". Nothing in my original review is inaccurate. It was fact based and posted in good faith. I sought the services of a local florist through established channels of research and communication. That search led me to a web page where I could order the flowers I wanted from Flowers by Rita. It said Flowers by Rita was in Piedmont, AL. and even included a street address and phone number. It was not a Flowers by Rita web page but rather that of a national florists organization acting in their stead. The details of my order were crystal clear and the vendor I was led to understand I was trading with was Flowers by Rita. The flowers I paid for were not delivered. My diligent, and timely, follow up communications were ignored. In an earlier communication Flowers by Rita reported that the confusion and miscommunication I suffered happens with some measure of regularity as they are often confused with a florist in California. In other words, they knew about the existence of this problem for some period of time and had not corrected the system problems that caused it to happen....again. Here's part of the response to my review: "THIS POST IS TOTALLY FALSE!!!!! FLOWERS BY RITA IS IN GADSEN, AL and does not deliver to Piedmont, AL. We do not offer a web site to even place orders plus we answer our phones 24/7 and you call only call in to place an order with us. This person posted this on the wrong florist. PLEASE DISREGARD. Thank you!!!" read more

The 215 is well worth the drive from Birmingham, Anniston, or even Atlanta. They take care of any photography need right there at the studio or on location. My favorite time to use them is when Santa comes around each year. Kids, stop reading for a second... They hire the same fellow each year and he's great with kids. The turnaround on the pictures is great and you can always look at the proofs online, before purchasing. The 215 is the best of the best. I promise.

I am a resident of Gadsden, & have used Flowers by Rita for years for several different reasons. They have always showed friendly & great professionalism. I have used Ted & Rita's services on numerous occasions, for anything from receiving their flowers, to Alabama ball player signings, to their framing & artwork. The times I have received their flowers, they were beautiful! The times I went to their business for Alabama signings & events, Ted & Rita were very organized, & accommodating to their customers! I have never had a bad experience with their business in any way & I highly recommend them! Matter of fact, every time I have used their business for what ever the occasion, they both have been nothing but amazing, & very kind. They do so much for their customers! They always greet everyone with a welcoming atmosphere, & they go out of their way to do things for their customers, & make sure their customers are pleased! Their artwork & custom frames are magnificent! I am an Alabama fan, & I love their collections of pictures, & they keep a variety to choose from. I have also attended several Alabama football player signings, which has always been a success. I can say that Ted & Rita are wonderful people, & care for their customers! BEST IN GADSDEN, AL My husband and I have been using this local florist for over 40 years and they never disappoint! Any flowers we have ordered for family Birthdays, Anniversaries,Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Funeral Arrangements or any occasion have ALWAYS been BEAUTIFUL!!! I have read the reviews but let me tell you all about my experience with Mr.Ted today. I live in Texas my good friend's mother passed and the funeral was the next day. I called Flowers by Rita in the evening after 5:00 pm but didn't get an answer. Within an hour I received a call from Mr. Ted of Flowers by Rita. He took the time to listen to what I needed as I explained the quick turn I was requesting. I was surprised I received a call back that late in the evening but his services are 24 hours. read more
