I wish I had looked at yelp before ordering. I wanted to support a small, local business to deliver a flower arrangement and now I can only assume the reviews I saw online were scam reviews. Facebook has their comments turned off and angry face emojis, and all the recent comments here on Yelp give me no hope for an actual resolution. I selected the deluxe option for this arrangement and understood that Substitutions could be made if something was out. As you can see, what was sent is nearly half the size of the example. There are what looks like less than 10 flowers in the entire arrangement that was sent vs over 12 in the example photo just on one side. I ordered 4 days ago, so I would have thought if there was an issue with the arrangement or if they were out of so many things, they would have called to ask if I wanted to do something different. This was not worth the nearly $100 total spent on it. I don't know how flower companies like this stay in business and dupe people like this. Will update when/if they follow-up. read more

My daughter sent me a bouquet from Flowers by Eva last week. When it arrived, I noticed that all of the colors in it were not "my colors", and wondered how my daughter could get things so twisted. After sharing a picture with her, my daughter said that it wasn't what she selected at all. We contacted the company to have it fixed, but they said their posted policy explains that they can ship whatever they want, depending on availability. Why should one even bother to pick out an arrangement, if only 1 flower would be correct: the yellow button poms.  It is ridiculous to even think this arrangement would be an acceptable substitution.  I can't believe a florist lacked availability on so many items, especially since it was ordered over a week after Mother's Day! STAY AWAY! I ordered flowers for a co-workers bday, I specifically wanted same-day delivery. All on the website looks good & promises a customer everything they want to hear, but this company won't deliver as promise. There's a 2 hour time difference between my co-worker & I, so I fortunately had the ability to keep track. By 7pm CST I reached out to my co-worker & found out she didn't receive her surprise, I was heartbroken as I wanted it to be a totally surprise. I am writing to express my disappointment with our recent order for our Aunt's funeral (Order E-3106-408187-8845). If we could give zero stars, we would. While the flowers arrived on time, the arrangement we received was nowhere near the quality represented in the order. The accompanying card was written so poorly it looked as though a child had written it, which was especially upsetting given the occasion. What was delivered, a small sprig of daisies, three roses, two sprigs of alstroemeria, and a bit of eucalyptus, looked more like an inexpensive grocery store bouquet than a premium funeral arrangement. I had 17 emails back and forth with them telling me they attempted delivery 5 times. My recipient was home for 3 of those days. Amazingly after they refunded me on the eighth day, the flowers were delivered on the ninth day and left on the porch in 10 degree weather. I spent 30 minutes speaking with the florist at Flowers By Eva setting up an arrangement that needed to be delivered that day for my very good friend's newborn baby delivery. This flower shop is truly disappointing. I called the shop around 10:30 am to confirm something and ask a few questions before placing my order online. The associate knew that my order was for a visitation and funeral the next day. Everything was good to go. Around 430pm I go to my email to look something up and I have a super automated generic email from Clarisse saying my order was going to be canceled due to inventory. The email was sent around 2 PM. I immediately called the shop because at this point it's almost 5 o'clock. I don't have many options. I speak to a Caesar and he confirms what Clarisse already said in the. They said the flowers delivered would be what I selected from their website: Blooming Meadow Bouquet (Premium - BF700-11KS) $74.99 I specifically asked about availability of the flowers shown and the sales person confirmed they would be used. I said I absolutely did not want any lilies substituted. I know my flowers and what I want. When I got notified they were delivered, I asked for a photo. The flowers shown for the Blooming Meadow Bouquet were not what was in the bouquet, other than some roses. No variety of color. Almost all were yellow, with most being lilies. Turns out they are "partners" with Safeway in Half Moon Bay who created the bouquet. I would never have ordered from Safeway. Beware of Flowers by Eva and the deceptive website. read more
