This florist is a bit upmarket, and includes some unusual texture in some of their bouquets…read more I have received a bouquet designed by them, in winter, and it was exquisite. Amongst beautiful flowers were large twigs with sofy and pretty texture, - giving it an unusual appeal. It is well worth a visit here if you're looking for something extra special, or memorable/

I was lucky that it was just before Mother's Day, so they had plenty of stock. I didn't see the flowers, but my stepmother wrote to thank me and said, "Many thanks for ... the gorgeous flowers. They are the best I have ever received, and they get better daily as they open up. Fleur De Lys did you proud."

One of the bridesmaids took the flowers to this shop and asked if they could do something with them to make it better. They helped straight away. The flowers came back very lovely hand tied and they looked like a different set of flowers I had sent her out with. This shop saved the fact of giving my mother and mother-in-law some flowers that looked like I did not care!. I owe alot to this shop and to there staff, I cant thank you enough for the change you made
A strange one for me to be reviewing, as flower buying is not one of my regular activities. But my…read moreword, does this shop deserve a mention. I was set the task of buying flowers for my dear mama for her wedding anniversary. A strange one you may think, but my papa works in Africa and being a developing country, his Internet and phone was working only intermittently. Cue a huge favour from his number 1 daughter. Having been told a colour scheme and type of flower I looked on the interflora website (who run Edwards) and found a bouquet that I thought was perfect, though came in a presentation vase that i knew would be surplus to requirements. I telephoned and spoke to a lovely lady who was so friendly I couldn't help but gush half my life story. She told me the flowers from the website are sent from a warehouse and the bouquets cannot be changed, and the longevity of life of the blooms sadly could not be guaranteed by herself. She then advised me that i was more than welcome to bespoke my own creation over the phone. She then went on to describe all the flowers and how she could arrange them. It was absolute bliss! If one thing is for sure, this shop is passionate about customer satisfaction. I'm convinced there would be no worse anniversary gift than a withered past it bunch if flowers. (I think I would read it as symbolism) Sticking at the same price as the original bouquet from the website, she said I could have about 10 more stems in my bouquet. The delivery was free of charge, and after ordering at 2pm it arrived at my mamas house at 9.30 the following morning. Needless to say there were tears upon receipt! One very happy mama on a day that could have proved disastrously lonely given the circumstances. So Edwards, my hat comes off to you for this one!
A very decent florist shop with some potted plants on sale too…read more They put together a good bouquet and listen to your requests carefully. It's a bit tricky if you're going to carry a bouquet away as there is no parking nearby and it's pretty busy just there. Other florists can be better.
I had placed an online order via Penn Hill's website for my best friend's wedding for a large…read morebouquet of flowers. I recieved a confirmation with the subject Penn Hill Flowers Order Confirmation which confirmed that my order was recieved by http://pennhillflorists.co.uk as well as telling me that to contact them if there were any queries and was signed by Penn Hill. On the day of the delivery I called up to see all was OK and was stunned to be told that this was actually an Interflora Courier delivery and the order was not with Penn Hill at all. In short, I had a long and confiused conversation with a florist whose details were plastered all over a confirmation sent to me but yet were cleaning their hands of any responsibility for it. I told them that I was at a loss as to who I turned to in that case and they gave me Interflora's detail and then unhelpfully launched into letting me know that in future it would be better to ring up with an arrangement on their website and ordered via a phone. A little bizarre given they have a on-line ordering facility on their website. Besides, I was furious at the palaver I had already been put through and had no intention of ever placing an order with them again. I also had better things to do then listen to an advert for them as it was the day of my best friend's wedding and I was her maid of honour Seeing as I have no idea where I am to leave a review of the quality of the flowers I will also have to leave it against the company that sent me the confirmation. As mentioned, I ordered a large version of the arrangement I liked on-line. I'd hate to see what the standard option was sorely disappointed with the quality for what I paid for it. It was a very important day and this element let it down very badly. I did advise both Interflora and Penn Hill that it is very unhelpful (and entirely useless) to have incorrect information sent out to customers. I have no idea what the quality of Penn Hill's flowers are nor will I ever as I had apparently never placed an order with them yet have confirmation from thier organisation that I had. Perhaps they are best used by going into the shop or phone orders and stay well clear of their on-line ordering option as it is a phantom of some sort.
Hmmm.an electic mix of lamps, modern chairs, bookshelves, end tables and cushions etc…read more I find this an odd sort of mix under one not so large roof. It's as if you walk in and magicly will find the item they stock will suit your needs or wants. No seemingly obvious choice of colours. It reminds me a bit of an expensive market, or garage sale. I prefer stores where there are colour options amd alternatives. A pleasant snoop though.
