It is so sad that during a national crisis the people of this business decide to attack a single household trying to do good in the world. A sweet family in the surrounding area decided to take donations to put together flower bouquets and deliver them to nursing homes to brighten days and bring smiling faces. This business went out of their way to attack that family and essentially shut them down because they felt they weren't getting the business they deserved. Perhaps you aren't getting business because of the way you treat people. It costs you absolutely NOTHING to be kind, yet they still chose to be NASTY human beings. That's why, when it came to buying a corsage for my son's prom date, it was important to find a corsage as beautiful and unique as the young woman wearing it. We found that and more when we walked into Flower Power and asked about corsages and boutonnières. We were warmly greeted by Heather, and she directed to a customization station that provided the option to choose everything from the style/color of ribbon, leaves, sparkly blingage, and whirly-whatsits, as well as a wide variety of wrist bands. After my son made his myriad selections, Heather showed us what she thought would work as a filler flower (deftly demonstrating that she is definitely not a baby's breath florist!), and she gave us an idea of how it would all come together with the sweetheart roses. We also ordered his boutonnière, ensuring everything would match beautifully. In spite of every detail and perfect personalization, we were still very much within budget, spending less than we would have at other, more mainstream, florists. Knowing our dollars are supporting a local business made me feel even better about our purchase! Flower Power absolutely nailed it on flowers for my wedding. I wanted an in-season, fall look and they delivered the most beautiful arrangements...better than I even imagined. They provided centerpieces, bouquets (my bridal bouquet still looks gorgeous almost a week later!), boutonnieres, aisle greenery and even gave me ideas for venue decor. We ordered an easel of red roses for my mother in laws funeral. Flowers were not there at requested time. When we called florist there seemed to have been a mix up as to where to deliver flowers. When flowers finally arrived they were a mixed arrangement in a vase. When the florist was contacted 2 days later, they did say they weren't sure why we didn't get what was ordered. Here's the great part.....the owner agreed to a refund, but they'd need to come pick up the flowers that were delivered!!!!!!! The error was not our fault, yet they were going to disturb my father-in-law so they could pick up their wrong flowers. I will NEVER use this florist again! I went on their website and ordered a homecoming corsage. I was charged quite a bit of money as I chose one with a triple pearl bracelet. When we picked up the corsage it looked nothing like the picture and the "pearl bracelet" was just a stretchy pearl band. I was a disappointed in the overall product. read more

I went in to order my daughter a silk wristlet corsage for Magnet's Homecoming. I even had the dress to match. I went so for as to ask if they had one made up already, that they could show me it as an example. They had several made up and the last one the man showed me, he told me my daughter's would look exactly like that, but with the color roses and color of ribbons I had chosen with the addition of some Bling included. I was sort of shocked when he said it was going to be $65 + tax, because this was a SILK wristlet not fresh. I had visited another local Florist 2 weeks prior, not realizing the lady misunderstood my husband and I were wanting a silk arrangement (as my daughter wanted it as a keepsake this year) until she got to the end of writing up the order ticket, and this Florist only charged $45 for hers. Not to mention that it had more fresh flowers in it but was about the same size, just instead of being round, it was longer up the arm. Homecoming Saturday arrives and my husband picks the corsage up in town after he gets off work. He brings it home and I'm TOTALLY PISSED OFF at how it's HALF THE SIZE of the one the man showed me it would be!!! Not only that, BUT YOU CAN'T SEE THE PURPLE RIBBON IN IT AT ALL!! The purple ribbon is looped down up underneath everything instead of coming out of the arrangement like I specifically asked him about because that was one of the major things my daughter wanted was the purple to be brought out to match her dress. Since the florist decided that a pink rose with somewhat faded purple looking tips would look best, I wanted a guarantee that in the arrangement the purple ribbon loops would be coming out and visible like the one he showed me and the man said, "oh yes ma'am, yes ma'am." Had I went into town to pick up my daughter's wristlet corsage, I would have demanded my money back, and I would have gone to Hobby Lobby and spent all day throwing something together myself, untalented as I am, that's how disappointed in this crap wristlet I am after the man in Flower Power showed me what I was supposed to be getting. Because I did NOT get what I was supposed to get!!! And I NEVER would have paid $65 for something that looks like it cost them $5 to make!! I would have paid $15 Tops!! Stay away from this place!! They will show you one thing and then make you something of A LOT lesser quality!! I just hate my daughter went to homecoming with friends and it was Mom, Dad and Little Sister who gave her this crappy corsage. On 06/20/2016, my boyfriend had flowers sent to my job. They were pretty but small and arrived with no card.... It came later.... Terrible business. Ordered flowers to be delivered on valentines day at 8AM. They told me that they would go out around noon which was fine. Called back around 3 to see why they had not arrived and they assured me they would be there within 30 or 40 minutes because the office closed at 5. 5 pm came and they never showed up. I called and canceled the order and asked for a refund which they did. Then they delivered the flowers at 6 anyway and the owner was still there luckily. The next day they returned to try and take back the flowers instead of just calling and asking to recharge my card. They eventually recharged my card anyway although I should get a discount at least for the BS they pulled. read more

My daughter's wedding was accented beautifully with gorgeous flower arrangements made by Flower Power Inc. Her bouquet was outstanding. We ordered a reasonable amount of arrangements & nothing I received was a disappointment. I do recommend possibly finding a Catholic church or nursing home ahead of time that will accept your flower arrangements for further usage. The flowers stayed beautiful a long time after. I ordered flowers long distance to be delivered in Shreveport for my mother's birthday over the phone. The staff was super helpful and my mother loved what she received. My only complaint was when I called back the next day to change the delivery date to two days later the flowers were still delivered on the original date. Otherwise it was a great experience.
