This store is incredibly disappointing. I purchased 6 pots, spending over $700. After getting them home, I found they were damaged. When I called the store a few days later, they advised me to bring them in for an exchange or refund. The receipt clearly states there is a 7-day refund policy for faulty products.
I returned the pots the next day. First, a staff member tried to convince me to take a store credit because they didn't have the same pots in stock. When I refused and requested a refund, the manager David became abusive and tried to grab my mobile out of my hand. His behavior was unbelievable and unacceptable. He didn't even look at the pots and outright refused to process a refund. When I tried to explain that the pots were damaged, he became even more abusive and locked himself in his office.
I then tried to speak to another staff member, but the manager rudely interrupted and told her to stop talking to me. I contacted their head office. Head office was useless and unaware of their own store policy, which I had to point out was on the receipt. I lodged a complaint with my bank and NSW Fair Trading. Flower Power even lied to my bank, claiming I had used the pots. The tags were still attached, making their claim absurd.
It took 2 months, but my bank finally assessed all the evidence and refunded me. Despite having spent thousands of dollars at Flower Power over the years, I will never shop there again. They are overpriced, have a toxic company culture, and provide non-existent customer service. read more
