Due to most planning happening during COVID Quarantine Dian did a fabulous job with my flowers and my bridal bouquet with just a few photo inspirations that I emailed to her. My boquet smelled amazing and I never wanted to put it down! Having worked at a flower shop in college I knew how finicky flowers can be, especially during a heat wave in July. Dian even worked my favorite flower into the bouquet despite it being out of season, and apologized profusely that there wasn't more quality stems available! She asked that I send photos of what I wanted to have made, sent photos back and forth of what she had created, and asked for my approval and any adjustments. I just had my consultation with Dian yesterday. She's my vendor through Wedgewood San Clemente. It was so wonderful meeting with her. I showed her a picture of my dream centerpiece which was different from the usual, with more greenery and a less contained, flowy, more garden-like feeling. She was able to match what I wanted perfectly and did a mock up right there to show me. She even helped me make up my mind with regards to my bridesmaids' and my bouquets, and the ceremony decor for the aisle and the arch. We discussed what flowers were available for my wedding in December so I can pin down my options. She also showed me pictures so I can decide on placement of rose petals, flowers and draping. Her prices are very competitive as well! She was so nice and warm and had a wonderful sense of humor! My sisters and I had so much fun at the appointment! She's made me so excited for my wedding. I'll update again after the wedding with pictures. Edit: We had our wedding this past December. The flowers were exactly as I wanted! Lots of flowing greenery. The ceremony was set up beautifully with rose petals on the center aisle. There was a small hiccup with the timing. I had asked Dian to arrive earlier with our personal flowers since first look was starting 2 1/2 hours before the ceremony, and she informed me the earliest she usually gets to the hotel is 2 hours before ceremony start time. Dian at FCSC did our flowers for our wedding at Wedgewood San Clemente, and we couldn't have been happier. During our initial consultation, Dian went over all the details from color scheme, flower types, vase options and pricing. She was very up-front about what to expect which we really appreciated. She broke everything down into categories - bride and groom, bridesmaids, groomsmen, parents, reception, ceremony, etc. and priced everything out for us. My husband and I didn't know anything about flowers, we just knew we wanted to incorporate coral (our bridesmaids' color) into the bouquets. We let Dian know we wanted an earthy/garden feel, and left the rest up to her! We looked at other florists to compare pricing, and found that Dian's prices were the most competitive, and I feel that we got our money's worth. I didn't see the flowers until right before the ceremony, when Dian came in to my room at the hotel where I was getting ready, to personally deliver the flowers (and a hug)! I was blown away by how perfectly she carried out my vision. I was a little worried due to some of the mixed reviews here, but our experience with FCSC was all positive. We did have some communication issues via email which worried us a little at first (Dian wasn't able to send us some contract/paperwork type documents) but we got it all sorted out after all. I would absolutely recommend Dian and FCSC for your wedding floral needs. I preserved my bouquet after our wedding in a shadowbox and still get compliments on the flowers even though they are all dead and dried out now! read more

WORST PART OF OUR WEDDING was the FLOWER CO. The owner Dian seemed very loving in the beginning but seemed more interested in her expertise rather than what I wanted. When I asked if I could see an example of the flowers, she made it seem like I was crazy and the only way to know was the day of the wedding. (I understand I can't see MY flowers til the day of, but I'm sure you've worked on other flowers). Anyways...the most obnoxious part is she called twice before the wedding and both freaking times...she had no clue who the F she was talking to. She had forgotten what we've talked about...day of our wedding, she charged my husband MORE than what was agreed upon( poor hubby didn't know so he handed her the cash) Oh! And we said we would give her cash AT the venue... She arrives while we're taking pictures and REFUSED to give us our bouquet and boutonniere until we handed her the money ( we were MID pixture ) my girl's literally had to pull it from her for pictures. Ugh. I can't put into words how unpleasant our experience was. I honestly wouldn't complain of the flowers were gorgeous...they looked like Ralph's flowers shoved into a vase.
