In summary, I was very impressed with the physical therapists expertise and their ability to adapt my treatment plan to my specific physical condition. They listened to my goals regarding the level of physical activity I wanted to achieve, continually challenged me, and provided encouragement along the way. They were also flexible, if for whatever reason I was having a bad day, adapted my workout for that day. Upon my graduation, I was given a comprehensive exercise program to do at home to maintain the strength I had developed. My therapist walked me through the material which also included videos of the movements. I credit the expertise of the physical therapists and their supportive attitude for my positive rehabilitation outcome.

He wouldn't even open up the DSM Book, which is required for psychiatrists to make an accurate diagnosis. I majored in psychology in college and told him I don't meet the criteria for his diagnosis, and he said "Fine! You have OCD then! Does that make you happy?!" He then called my dad "crazy," and he's never even met him before. I asked him again to please open the DSM Book for an accurate diagnosis, and he placed his hand on it and said "No! I'm not gonna open it! I'm gonna go with my GUT." He has several one-star ratings for a reason.

A Disgrace to all MDs…read more This doctor Amer Malik lied to me & discriminated against me, just like his staff did. The final act this practice did to me was to lie yet again and then call my husband names. They claimed a letter from a specialist was missing key language they needed to fill out a form for me to keep my job, but they refused to give me a copy of the letter the specialist sent. I got copy of that letter and the language Malik's woman "Fatima" said was missing was in fact in the letter. The doctor had what he needed but lied, intentionally, which has cost me my job, my home-he waited until the 11th hour. Malik-your trifles with insurance manipulation which you openly brag about in front of patients.. good luck w that. But with me- You crosse a line, medically, ethically, and in many other ways. And having your receptionist come outside as if high, screaming profanities at my husband and referring to him as a woman actually captures YOUR true character, and hers. Complaints incoming. He asked me so many questions about myself and my relationships, which ended up helping me look at many of my struggles in a completely different and more positive light. He did not offer a whole lot of advice, but helped me discover my own answers through some pretty deep discussions. Each meeting with Thomas, I felt accepted, heard, and understood. He definitely had a plan for his method of counseling, which is something I appreciated. I always left each appointment feeling more insightful and at ease with myself.
