The therapists here are made to work with so many clients at once, your care is not tailored to you and it's not managed to your benefit. My last straw at this facility was when I placed with a different therapist, never told why k was switched, doing all the same exercises as I had been doing for all my sessions (little to nothing in the routine changed and in therapy it should as you progress) and everything was explained different and felt different. When I was placed back with my original therapist, the therapist said my movements and form looked better...this shouldn't occur as a result of a new therapist, it should have been caught from day one; that's one reason people go to therapy- to learn better body mechanics to avoid injury or further injury. I surmised they are too busy with so many patients at any one time to have the time to care from day 1, so I left. Unfortunately I don't recommend. Two stars for the staff putting up with this kind of schedule, they are at the kind but the care is subpar. read more

Don't waste your time, efforts, and money on Dr. Frank and his horrendous operation! They put us through hell with us spending money and time finding someone to fill out their massive computer forms that had numerous errors and froze up repeatedly. No one on their staff would help even when we had all the data and could answer their questions. Then we get there and on a hot day had to walk a long distance across their parking lot in 95 degree heat. We asked for some water and things went down hill from there. Now I am a 60 something in reasonably good health as stated by by cardiologist, GP, and foot doc. I was going to them for some arm theraphy since I was mugged and recovering. My GP said it would help and speed recovery. Without even an exam or evaluation I was told I was "too far gone" and to leave. It is obvious this doctor made this decision purely on my looks, a senior citizen tuckered out from a long hike in 95 degree heat and not a sharp dresser. In all my years I have never encountered a doctor and office so hostile to a PROSPECTIVE patient. I can't even imagine how they treat resisting patients! read more

I am a senior recovering from some leg surgery but can get around. My GP recommended physical therapy and I was to go to these folks. Well first they insisted I fill out my lengthy medical history on a computer. I told them I lived in a bayou and we don't have computers let alone internet. Plus I am over 70 and learned Morse code telegraph in that there were no computers when I was growing up. And things went down hill from there. When I got to the office for my appointment I was told by the staff that the doctor thought I was too far gone and he did not want to waste his time on me. Apparently they just like young athletes with sports injuries and have a big problem with treating us seniors. All in all I found them to be very rude discrimatory folks! read more

I went there for chronic back pain. I'm older in my 50s. The physical therapist I was assigned to didn't give me much attention then the assistants were too busy chatting looking at their computers also. I was just told to do stretches. The physical therapist seemed more interested talking to a young teen girl doing exercises than talking to me. The stretches did help with pain for awhile then pain just comes back. When I told the P.T. this he just said so you want to stop your therapy?? Not impressed. I'm a paying customer I believe I should be shown more courtesy and respect. Come on... read more

I was sent here on workers comp when I hurt my back at work. The first 2 visits started out ok but after that, it was like I didn't exist. Especially when the young high school kids started coming in to train. Then after the 2nd week, literally 6 visits, they told me that I wasn't making any progress and didn't want to treat me anymore. I have been to First Choice physical therapy on numerous occasion. My last experience was for a total knee replacement. All the staff are kind and friendly. All my needs were meet even if I didn't feel like I wanted goals to be meet. It has been a long road for me and each staff person including the office personnel are very professional. If you don't go there you are missing out on people who care about recovery. I recommend First Choice to everyone. read more

These guys were so friendly! Physical therapy is not a one time visit to a clinic and the more I went the more I felt like everyone there cared about how I was progressing, not just the one therapist whose schedule I was on. They use a computer program to record daily notes and progress. Who ever was close to me when I finished an exercise could easily guide me into the next exercise just by glancing at the plan of care that had been prescribed. On days that included some hands on therapy the Doctor of PT was right there to take care of me and discuss how things were going. Almost made me glad I needed therapy... almost. read more
