The main thing they wanted to do is message therapy to include areas you don't have issues with ( just burning time and money). You are in an open area with tables lined up where they had numerous employees working on people openly, talking to each other, complaining about the place, counting their days to leave and the list goes on (how about concentrating on the treatment). You felt like cattle being brought in and out. They then push overpriced equipment on you to burn up your money while you're at one of your lowest points of life (A employee saw this and told me don't get anymore stuff). The only thing is at what they thought was the end of my PIP when asked why I wasn't getting real treatment I was advised they were afraid to treat me. Unfortunately for them I had extended medical with a lot more money and took my business elsewhere. They even had the nerve to tell me that I needed to tell anyone else of my medical issues. I then went to a real rehab facility that produced life changing results. What was crazy is their sorry selves tried to get me to come back.

Make an appointment (we have a ppo that does not require referrals) and wouldn't tell me where to get one. The ER writing follow up with a neurologist seemed like that would be referring us to neurology. Talked to the ER today and they said they could get me a copy of the records to take to them but had no idea how to get a referral into their computer. The insurance company gave me the same thing VA had: a list of practices. The practice calls them to verify coverage not the other way around. Did she mean authorization? I'll never know. She would not stop talking over me to ask. I can't let anyone I know who needs neurology go into that den of madness. And my misunderstanding of the process I can accept. Not having the skills at the receptionist desk for a call to walk someone through the process in a doctor's office is really not acceptable. They are the interface with the doctors & system. Unfortunately the only other practices in town were 3-4 months out. We have to drive to Tallahassee to be seen. Infuriating.
