They allowed her to sit in on the appointment and answered every question we had. They have at least one employee that speaks both Spanish and English, which was great for my bilingual daughter to see. I was highly impressed with the professionalism of Donnie and was happy to hear about the humanitarian work he had done in both Honduras and the Dominican Republic. I was also impressed to find out Donnie had served in the air force for 27 years! During the appointment, Donnie immediately alleviated my husband's pain and prescribed medicine to help him recover. They sent the prescription electronically to our pharmacy, allowing the pharmacy to go ahead and get the prescription ready for us while we drove to the pharmacy. This was very convenient and a big time saver. I highly recommend this location.

Starting at the front desk Sherri was always so helpful and worked closely to ensure I was able to schedule all my therapy sessions. Sherri was especially helpful when I needed to change days and time. She always greeted me by name and was so upbeat. All the Physical Therapists I dealt with were incredible. Collectively they were always positive and took a genuine in my progress. I am convinced I would not have progressed as well as I did without John, Maggie, Victoria, Brent, Brannon and the rest of the Physical Therapists. Every one truly knew their profession and really took the time to challenge me every time I had a therapy session. They always greeted me by name and took a vested interest in my progress. There are a lot of choices for physical therapy and I truly believe First Choice Therapy should be everyone's first choice for therapy. Thanks to the entire team at First Choice.

From the start, it felt different. They put me in a massage chair with moist heat (which already had me feeling human again), then Dr. Jon actually sat down and talked through what was going on before jumping into anything. The adjustment itself was exactly what I needed, and they didn't just send me on my way after--finished things off with ice and a TENS unit which helped calm everything down. What really stuck with me though was how much they cared. I wasn't a long-term patient, they knew I was just passing through, but you'd never know it. They even texted me later to check in... who does that?? Seriously, if you're local or just in town and hurting, go here. They'll take care of you. I walked out feeling sooo much better.

In summary, I was very impressed with the physical therapists expertise and their ability to adapt my treatment plan to my specific physical condition. They were also flexible, if for whatever reason I was having a bad day, adapted my workout for that day. Upon my graduation, I was given a comprehensive exercise program to do at home to maintain the strength I had developed. We had been to the emergency room and told to follow up with a neurologist. The person who picked up the phone would not stop talking over me. To the point of wondering if I was in some sort of AI simulation. Over and over again telling me a referral had to be in her computer to a. Answer my questions, b. Make an appointment (we have a ppo that does not require referrals) and wouldn't tell me where to get one. The ER writing follow up with a neurologist seemed like that would be referring us to neurology. Talked to the ER today and they said they could get me a copy of the records to take to them but had no idea how to get a referral into their computer. The insurance company gave me the same thing VA had: a list of practices. The practice calls them to verify coverage not the other way around. Did she mean authorization? I'll never know. She would not stop talking over me to ask. I can't let anyone I know who needs neurology go into that den of madness. And my misunderstanding of the process I can accept. Not having the skills at the receptionist desk for a call to walk someone through the process in a doctor's office is really not acceptable. They are the interface with the doctors & system. Unfortunately the only other practices in town were 3-4 months out. We have to drive to Tallahassee to be seen. Infuriating.
