I have never written a bad review for anyone or anything before, but given the circumstances of this encounter I feel I have no choice now. I have been a teacher (between Bay, Walton, & Washington Counties) for 16 years, I do community service, I'm active in my church, etc... in other words, I am an educated, professional, Christian woman - certainly not the type of person to ever talk bad about anyone or gossip out of spite or malice. In fact, I have always tried to avoid conflict at all costs, but I am so beyond disgusted & disappointed with the way I was treated by (and my entire experience with) the "rental manager" of Chipola Realty that I felt compelled to say something so that hopefully the same thing won't happen to anyone else. Awful customer service... she talked down to me, she wouldn't answer my questions, & she kept cutting me off when I tried to speak or ask a question. She spoke to me extremely disrespectfully for absolutely no reason at all. I have no idea what her name is, but I honestly have no idea how she got to be in the position that she is in, because she is seriously the most rude & unprofessional person that I think I have ever encountered in any sort of public relations position... definitely not the "face" that I would want to represent my business. Disgraceful.

Very disappointed in the service we received…read more It was a good start, to a horrible ending. We thought they were doing their job, to find out they didn't complete any of it. Our realtor could not guide us in the right direction, whatsoever. She didn't order our survey, which costed us to pay a rush fee and we were told it wasn't her job, which we believed until we talked to four other relators who stated it is a relators job to communicate with the mortgage company and set up the survey. THEN, we thought she was there for us. She told us everything was in excellent condition, and herself personally would not feel the need for a home inspection, that everything worked down to the water. Come to find out, the water hadn't been turned on in over six months, when they discounted the power pole to the home. During this, they didn't turn off the hot water heater breaker....which resulted in burning up the elements (straight to ASH, coming out of our faucet when we turned everything back on) The home had a horrible rat problem, which ate up all the wiring to the dishwasher, and to six outlets. Then, two months after our closing, we are still getting invoices for services done during the process. One of which she told us would be less than what it was. The second one she failed to send it over to be included in our HUD, and the third of which she told us in texts "not to worry about at this point." Blame was constantly put onto the mortgage company, which we believed, until everything was over. Now our loan officer is left trying to clean up the mess left that wasn't taken care of, when she doesn't get paid to do so. Our loan officer got her check, just like the realtor. The difference is the loan officer is trying to fix the mess leftover from everyone else and not taking her check and hauling butt. While the realtor and broker got their check and hauled butt off. Because we are already closed, and they got paid, it's not their problem anymore.
