Im an Alumni at FIU so I have to say Im a fan. I havent been in college for over 20 years though…read more Recently, Ive been coming to FIU North Campus because my son goes to MAST high school which shares the campus with FIU. It is in the Academic 1 building. I also come occasionally to use the pool or go into the bay for an open water swim. Thats what you do when you are training for a triathlon. Overall its a nice campus but considering Im also a UF Alumni, its hard to compare North campus to a really large University. South campus from what I remember was larger and did have that large campus feeling to it, but still much smaller than UF. Im sure its grown in the past 20 years though. If you want to get edumacated, FIU may be a good option for you.

I got lucky the Journalism courses were all at this campus, which were closer to my house…read more This campus is a COMPLETELY different campus than the main campus on 8st. You can actually find parking here, it isn't always conjested with students switching classes and it is alot smaller making it easier to navigate. Plus it has great outdoors areas to have lunch, or study. Plus all of the professors in the JOU program are awesome! Most remind me of rebelious hippies, but they are so knowledgeable in the field with many years experience. So glad I HAD to go to this campus.

Yelp 100 Challenge 2017: 73/100:…read more I might be biased since I did my masters and Ph.D. in their San Juan Campus. However, I visited this campus for a whole week, while looking for old documents (same system) and then taking a 4-day Workshop 9 hours everyday. So I feel like I got to get to know this campus and how it works pretty well (I hope so). Small Campus, but bigger than the one in Puerto Rico. Administrative staff is sooo friendly and eager to help, it's amazing. Administrative services and documentation can sometimes be very tedious, but the staff here is very patient and nice. The facility itself is beautiful with lots of parking (contrary to the San Juan Campus) and the decor and surroundings are very well maintained. With advanced technology and fast WIFI for both guests and students. Everybody here is bilingual (or almost everybody), which is a huge perk and there's even a student lounge and cafeteria for you to take breaks and grad a bite. Woot-woot! Carlos Albizu University is rocking it!
