From the owner: Welcome to Anchors Away Charters! Where we specialize in Boca Grande Offshore Fishing…read moreCharters & Boca Grande Inshore Fishing Charters. We invite you to spend a sunny Florida day on the glassy waters surrounding Boca Grande . The air is clear and crisp and the fishing bite is as hot as the weather. For over 35 years, Captain Jeff has spent days and nights fishing southwest Florida's coast. He is bringing his love for the water to you by providing Boca Grande inshore charters and Boca Grande offshore charters. Whatever your idea of a day of fishing is, Captain Jeff can provide that charter for you. He is one of only a few Boca Grande offshore fishing charter captains that possesses Federal Fishing Permits This means you can choose an offshore charter which allows you to fish past the state waters of 9 miles into federal waters, where you will catch a wider variety of fish. If a shorter trip is where you want to start your charter journey, Captain Jeff can still get those Shimano fishing rods bent inshore or nearshore surrounding the beautiful Boca Grande waters.

FIVE STARS for Captain Blake!!…read more He is an excellent host who is knowlegeable about boating, the area, the eco system and the animals. Impressive! We made reservations from Texas and signed up for a 3 hour cruise. The time past quickly and we enjoyed every minute of it. TIP: Know before you go, that the closet bathroom is at the dock and it is a porta potty. I sincerely mean it when I say it's the nicest and cleanest porta potty I've ever encountered. There is a station next to it with clean water for hand washing.

We had two kids under the age of 5 on board and Captain Keith was mindful of that the whole way. Not only did he navigate the chop safely, it was obvious he didn't want the kids to be scared or soaked. He kept everyone relatively dry the whole way. In addition to providing a great ride, Captain Keith shared some great fishing information as we were planning to fish from Cayo Costa. His information was very useful and he even gave us the 'shrimp' off his back. That's right, we couldn't find any live shrimp that morning to bring out so Keith gave us what he had in his live well which proved to be the necessary bait to catch fish that afternoon. We'll always book with Captain Keith going forward.
