A quaint little candy factory in the hills of Southern France, this is a terrific spot for a free tour & some remarkable samples. In a picturesque location (of course), Confiserie Florian is a working candy factory that's been churning out high end sweets for decades. They specialize in candied fruits, crystallized flowers and specialty jams (rose, violet, jasmine) at this particular location - a really unique treat. The tour is quick, but interesting, and at the end they bring you to the gift shop where you can taste a variety of their products. I wanted to buy lots of gifts here, but beware, it's extremely pricey. These aren't exactly Hershey products ... however, it's worth a little splurge as a special treat for sweet-lovers back home. read more
